RR » Anstey enters Classic TT on Manx Norton

Yeah I agree. 40 million motorcyclists in the USA & they can't televise a great overseas roadrace? Sillyness! The other funny one is we do not get to see MotoGP races until August excepting USGP's. Nor WSBK unless you subscribe to a little known too expensive network "beIN" TV. Luckily FOX network decided to get MotoGP so at least we will get to see the end of the season anyway starting in August. Still too little! I tried to get DTV to give me "beIN' Network either for cheap or on a part time basis to get WSBK & the answer was "if you want that one it is $52.99 a month or $640 a year." Yeah right eh? Like a retired racer on fixed income can afford that! As the Brits say Bullocks!!! At least we will get MotoGP late this season, guess I have to be happy with that. Still no US "AMA National" roadraces either was on SPeed last season. The TV situation in the USA just flat sucks. -K

RR » Financial woe sees axe fall on Bush road races

USA fan. Feel lucky you can have these kind of races in your area. In the USA "road races" of this style are never allowed due to insurance/liability reasons. There are a few exceptions like "Battle Mountain" Nevada roadrace (cars only because a Hayabusa blew the cars away the 1st year LOL.) I think there's a car only race in Nebraska every year as well. There are also a few old airbase runway top speed "mile" events. But that's it. All the rest are closed course or nothing. I envy you folks being able to watch "real" roadraces. Watch all I can on YouTube otherwise they are not broadcast. Consider yourselves the luckiest enthusiasts in the world!!! Cheers from over the pond...K
