MotoGP » Pedrosa unable to capitalise on Lorenzo injury

As much as what I have come to admire Pedrosa, I seriously doubt whether he will ever lift the Championship trophy. I sincerely hope that I am wrong though!! I feel that this year is about his best and last chance to do so, it will just get more difficult from here on with MM getting stronger and faster race after race. But Dani just doesn't seem to be hungry enough, or maybe just too cautious... Hopefully I will be proved wrong.

MotoGP » Smith expects to stay at Tech 3 in 2014

MotoGP is meant to be the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. This guy is definitely not at the pinnacle. No matter how much some people like him, he will never be race winner. And I think that's the main reason why some people feel that he has no place in MotoGP, or Tech3, is because there are others who, if given the same opportunities, backing and machinery would without a doubt produce much better results.

MotoGP » Lorenzo not worried by engine 'observation'

Thank the gods both old and new, hopefully this will negate the monotonous strategy and allow the people whom I am a fan of to finish ahead of a person whom I am not particularly a fan of lol :) I try to like jlo, but I just can't. I admire his skill, I admire his race craft, but man he grates me. Don't know why. Maybe it's because he blasts off the finish line like a maniac, takes the hole shot and then dominates the race from there on while others (team mates especially) lose too time trying to block and jostle for 2nd and 3rd place instead of just settling down and trying to catch him. All the while he just goes about setting perfect unhindered lap after perfect unhindered lap and just gets away at the front...p*ss*ss me off no end! It's like watching Doohan all over again.

MotoGP » Dovizioso, Hayden give 'lab' Ducati lukewarm verdict

For the umpteenth time, 2007, the glory year for some - the first year of the 800cc, Ducati won because they had far superior straight line speed, horse power and fuel consumption directly as a result of their desmodronic valve system. It still handled like crap, but the straight line speed negated those issues Google it damnit. In 2008 Honda and Yamaha closed the gap to Ducati's speed and power, but retained their superior handling and henceforth Ducati never won a championship again. They dominated for 1 year, 1 championship, that's all. Stoner was very good, he proved that on the Honda. But he was also very fortunate to be able to exploit Ducati's distinct advantages over the rest of the field of new 800cc's on the 2007 grid. 07 is gone, Stoner is gone and the bike does not win races anymore.
