mrfill: It's been very messy with CRTs, open bikes, factory bikes, factory open bikes etc but at least motoGP is heading in the right direction. 2015 is another multi-class championship but come 2016 there will be one set of rules for all and there will be at least 2 new factory teams. Contrast this with F1 where the big 5 teams are locking out the others and doing their best to prevent any new teams from thriving. I believe that 2016 will see a winner come from other than the Honda/Yamaha factory teams. And that will be very good for the sport.
I certainly hope that Suzuki and Ducati will be competitive for this championship. Not to mention KTM is making an appearance in 2017, and the fact that they are involve in Grand Prix says a lot about them as a manufacturer. Not sure if their resources are comparable to the other European manufacturers but certainly not like Honda or Yamaha. At this point I think fans would rather root for a non-Honda & non-Yamaha br
