WSBK » WSBK Rider of the Year - Full results

It never ceases to amaze me how bad is the recognition for overachievers on the lower grid. It's disappointing... Case in point, Jeremy Guarnoni. His MRS team had to sell their Stock bikes from 2013 on social media to save some pennies to try their luck at the Evo class. They managed to do it and fell onto completely new grounds for everyone including the young rookie rider. Guarnoni had the number of every Evo Kawasaki on the grid except for the factory Salom. Including those from well established teams like Pedercini, Grillini and Mahi. End result on the poll? Penultimate. Argh.

MotoGP » MotoGP Star of the Year vote: 2nd

Evolution: Hats off to this fair decision! More than 50000 voters proves what i was telling about MM that he was just winning because of GIANT HONDA advantages is absolutely right. There are some Brainless was sitting in the number of 30-40 and they think what ever they said is right but Racing fans proves them wrong. Now the Real fact is what the more than 50000 fans are saying is MM beat VR because of his bike not becuase of his talent and without Repsol he is not going to win 13 races thats for sure. Hit Disagree i don't give a damn because they proved me right :)
The only thing that was proven here is that Rossi's fanbase is still as huge and as blind as ever.

MotoGP » MotoGP Star of the Year vote: Full Results

Fullofit: Redding THAT far ahead of Aoyama after similar results on similar bikes ... more home town voting.
I'm western European and even I voted Redding far above Aoyama. There's a huge difference in how we rate between being a rookie on a bad bike beating a lot of people including world champions riding an equal one, or his team-mate with a much better machine.. and someone who's been there performing increasingly unremarkable for many years. I mean, isn't that the whole point of the poll? To give people some classification they deserve rather than a repeat of the world standings.

WSBK » WSBK Rider of the Year vote: 6th

Liam94:
Gary Rowan: Camier 8th - LMAO!!!!!! Badovini worked wonders on the Bimota, challening Salom and doesnt even make the Top 10.
No guarantee Badovini didn't make top 10, I gave Badovini a 9 (most I gave any rider)
I gave him a 8 myself. Not that the 2 I gave Giugliano seemed to matter much though. What's the point on being fast if the Ducati pit were left disappointingly shaking their heads about 90% of the races?

WSBK » Loris Baz - Q&A

Seriously. Giugliano has always seemed unaware that bringing the bike in one piece to the checkered flag would actually be a good thing, yet he goes on about how someone else is over-agressive. I'm pretty sure his team bosses cry every night because of the repair bills he put them through. How about taking a good look at the mirror before pointing fingers? That said, Baz' attitude is very good. He made a mistake, that's right. Was it bad to take your championship-leading teammate out? Very. But it wasn't over the top as a move.

F1 » Haas wants Patrick in F1 team

21 years later and American people haven't learned from Michael Andretti, who had the talent but flunked big time for refusing to move across the Atlantic except for races. Even other sportsmen have learned to adapt. Look at tennis for example. The predominance of the sport shifted to west-European claycourt grinding style, Americans refused to adjust and nearly everyone plummeted down the rankings. Nowadays there are some youngsters rising up the ranks, guess why? They're actually WILLING to try their hardest to learn how it goes these years. USA is no longer the center of the sports world and people who fail to admit & accept it are going to crash hardly onto the ground. Gene Haas is setting himself up nicely.
