Brilliant ride from Marquez. Great performance from Dani to fight back, and smart ride from Rossi to bag a solid third and extend his lead. Special mentions to Iannone and Smith - they just continue to impress. Scott must be wondering what has gone wrong. It will be a long summer break...more like winter for him. I feel for the guy. MIller did well, but Bautista pipped him at the end. Probably payback for last round....

MotoGP » EXCLUSIVE: Herve Poncharal (Tech 3) - Q&A

It's great to see Bradley doing consistently well this year, with times often neck and neck with the factory Yamaha riders - neither of whom is any slouch. It's good to see for Bradley's sake, but also to have a laugh at all the idiots on here that wrote him off before he even turned a wheel at this level, and lambasted him for the last few seasons when anything went wrong. He just kept chipping away and has become one of the most consistent riders, and quite capable of putting in some really fast laps. He also brings home a big points haul almost every race weekend. Let's not forget that the satellite teams have quite a bit less data analysis support than the big boys get, and there's no new frame for Tech 3...let alone a choice.

MotoGP » MotoGP Assen - Race Results

As for the incident at the chicane on the last lap, They were fighting for the win. Marquez was always going to make a move if he was within striking distance...he made the move under brakes at the chicane, Rossi closed the gate, and the both went for the same piece of tarmac. Marquez did not particularly veer into Rossi's line, although it's a fine line. Rossi was clear ahead through the corner. Technically, Rossi left the track, albeit there is a reasonable argument that Marquez was somewhat at fault. You can't leave the track and pocket an advantage in the process. However, Marquez also left the track during the incident. Ipso facto, Rossi ought to have won. I'm glad that neither rider came off.
