MotoGP » Marquez: Fourth straight win far from certain

mgm...Rossi is deeply philosophically opposed to riders teaming up for any reason. He believes riders should always ride "their own race"...well, at least he says that when it suits him. :) He will find some tricks by race day. Lorenzo will not work with Rossi, simply because he needs to beat Rossi before he can claw back Marquez. The big unknowns remain tyre performance over race distance in race conditions. On testing results, Marquez must start solid favourite for the win. Rossi will want to upset that, and Lorenzo wants to maximise his points haul no matter what. Bring it on please!

MotoGP » Rossi, VR46 deny MotoGP team plans

Ausrossi: ...Either way a greater relationship with Yam is obviously on the books and you can even see that in the way they brought Rossi back in at 35 which many would have queried at that point given the Ducati years. Also being front row is always a bit advantage for Rossi as the reason he often does not perform is simply having to work so hard to get past riders that are good enough to be difficult to pass but not in serious podium contention while MM and JL run away.
He was only 33 when he returned to Yamaha. Your comment seems to get lost at the end. The topic is whether Rossi will have his own MotoGP team or not. He m,ight yet in future, but isn't ready for this application bid. I hope LCR gets it. They've proved they can run a two rider team, given sponsorship support. Rossi's on the front row for today's race though, and good luck to him in the race.

MotoGP » Phillip Island secures long-term MotoGP, WSBK future

Philip Island is one of the best events on the calendar, and has had some amazing races. I can still remember the first GP there when Rainey et al were spinning their rear wheels and almost the whole way around the last set of left handers onto the main straight there. Not long after that, the race moved to Eastern Creek, and I can't remember a single race. Mind you, the wild life can be a problem...I'm thinking seagulls

MotoGP » Harder rear tyre structures behind Pedrosa’s problems

The problem is the tyres. Adding weight would unfairly penalise Pedrosa. He would have to wear it on his body, otherwise he would be at a significant disadvantage compared to other riders. The problem with that it, it would likely create a safety issue...unless he carries a series of small water ballast bags in aerodynamically sound plastic bags outside his leathers, which could burst sacrificially if he bins it. If Honda lets him go, another manufacturer will get the benefit of his considerable talent. He remains one of the best riders on the grid, along with Rossi, Lorenzo and Marquez. There's still a gap to the rest.
