MotoGP » Final 2014 MotoGP Championship standings

The only thing you can say is that the points are an accurate reflection of the performance over a year. Marquez first, Rossi second. Lorenzo and Pedrosa didn't have a great season. Dovi was the pick of the Ducati riders, and Pol progressed from a slow and steady start to an impressive result... Bradders dropped a position in the last race, to fall behind Aleix. This year though, has been all about Marquez. Last year was impressive, but not quite convincing. This year was irrefutably brilliant. Who knows what Rossi can do next year? He's surprised me this year, and he is not having any problems with fitness or motivation, so watch this space...

MotoGP » New bike making things easier for Smith

I'm still looking for Bradders to get some consistent race results that reflect the one-off laps he puts in from time to time. Hopefully he'll deliver next year. I like the way he takes the trouble to explain the technical issues with his riding, even though many on here simply call it "whinging", and "undeserving of a ride". His lap times often tell a different story, he just needs to string them together over race distance. WC? probably not, just like most of the riders on the grid.

MotoGP » PICS: Jack Miller makes MotoGP debut

It won't hurt Miller to start off on the Honda proddy. It is very close to the 2014 bike in terms of handling, but lacks its power. He needs to come to terms with the weight, feel, brakes, etc...okebty of time before he tries to crank out any fast laps. Pleased to see A Espargaro making good progress on the Suzuki, too. Maverick also. After the weekend RdP endured, they must have been a bit worried.

MotoGP » MotoGP Valencia - Race Results

Marquez - another textbook ride in tricky conditions. Waited for his tyres to some in, then rode through and cleared out. Had a few moments, but there was no-one for him to watch in front...he had to do all the work. Great ride from Rossi too. He held off Pedro, and seemed at ease in the conditions, when quite a few riders were having issues. Nice to see Crutchlow having a red hot crack at Dovi too!!!
