MotoGP » Valencia MotoGP test times - Wednesday (4pm)

Aleix's best lap is faster than his best race lap from Sunday, and only a few tenths off his qualitying pace from Saturday. That's a pretty good lap-time for an as-yet unsorted bike that still has reliability and software issues. Crutchlow appears to be adapting to the RC213V a bit quicker than Redding, but so far, it looks like the whole grid ought to be better able to compete next year. Apart from CC and AE, all the guys on familiar bikes are in the front half of the timesheets, and all the guys learning new bikes are in the back half.

MotoGP » New bike making things easier for Smith

I'm still looking for Bradders to get some consistent race results that reflect the one-off laps he puts in from time to time. Hopefully he'll deliver next year. I like the way he takes the trouble to explain the technical issues with his riding, even though many on here simply call it "whinging", and "undeserving of a ride". His lap times often tell a different story, he just needs to string them together over race distance. WC? probably not, just like most of the riders on the grid.

Joeski: Well...I can say this, making the top ten next year is going to be a mad house challenge as it seems the top 15 guys or even more have the potential to make top ten. ....
Agree, making the top ten next year will be much more of an achievement, based on the more even bike performance...bring it on! If the Suzuki gets sorted, and the GP15 delivers, it will be a cracking season. That ought to give Aprilia the incentive to fully join the party.

MotoGP » PICS: Jack Miller makes MotoGP debut

It won't hurt Miller to start off on the Honda proddy. It is very close to the 2014 bike in terms of handling, but lacks its power. He needs to come to terms with the weight, feel, brakes, etc...okebty of time before he tries to crank out any fast laps. Pleased to see A Espargaro making good progress on the Suzuki, too. Maverick also. After the weekend RdP endured, they must have been a bit worried.
