F1 » Hamilton tops list of richest sportsmen

richard:
MrJones85: All this talk about Hamilton and Ferrari is just semantics. Everybody knows he's not going anywhere. It's all just media driven hype.
about going to ferrari? ferrari came out yesterday and said that they have NO interest in even talking to lulu, and that they have had NO contact with him.
And of course, we can believe everything they say.

F1 » Horner calls for engine equalisation amid Renault struggles

mytyresaregoingoff: goldenoldie. Agree with a what you say but the limitations on development are part of a cost saving package that he helped design and signed up to. The problem is that in the past most teams had the domination due to a design feature such as double diffuser or tyre manufacturer, thinsg that could be controlled by a ban or a rule change. This time it is the engine and the only rule change that can help the others is to start an arms war
Excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by "An arms war"?

F1 » Horner calls for engine equalisation amid Renault struggles

Maroc: Horner has a point, only a fool wouldn't want to see competition in sport, at the moment it looks like Hamilton only has to beat one car this year again to take another title, take any driver on the grid and put them in a mercedes and they would sweep the board too. When RB were winning their titles, other teams had the freedom to catch up, you cant do that now, the rules wont allow it and thats a big shame on F1. I am a hard wired F1 fan for 35 years and have no issue getting up in the wee hours of the morning to watch my beloved sport. After this morning's procession i gave up after 20 laps, even Rosberg's been knobbled now, driving around behind Hamilton like two cars on a motorway keeping their distance, I'm just thankful i never gave in to subscribing to sky, what awaste of money that would have been, maybe its time to follow a new sport.
Well said Maroc, at last, some sense on here, well done !

F1 » Button ready to open ‘new chapter’ down under

theoldgitspeaks: I feel so sorry for Button, he's putting a diplomatic brave face on it but he must have hoped for so much more. With their disasterous run of testing alowing them limited mileage they will be lucky to get on the back of the grid and will probably be fighting with Marussia for the last row. Not what they would have hoped for but the other teams have as usual done a much better job of producing a reliablly competitive car. I can see McLaren dropping ever more behind unless their reliability problems are swiftly solved.
I hate to be pedantic but there are two big spelling errors in your post 1 Disasterous should be disastrous 2 Marussia I believe should be Manor. I really hope they have sorted out the reliability so we can get an idea of their prospective competitiveness. ( Hope I spelt that correctly :-) )
