MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP: Smith crashes out on fifth lap

@Darkwaknight Sure I will, I don't think he has what it takes. I will say that there is no way he will be pushing Cal by the end of the season regularly. There will be the odd race where some of the top guys don't finish or have off track moments and that's his best chance at top 6, but he wont be there regularly. As fastfisheye stated, there are so few rides out there that are capable of mixing it with the top guys, I would have liked to see 6 bikes up the front not 5 and I don't think this is the guy to make that happen. Maybe next year, maybe with another years experience under his belt.... but he should have got that experience from another year in moto2. Swap him for Pol.

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP: Pedrosa lacks grip, loses podium

I wouldn't write Dani off from this performance alone. He never looked comfortable with the terrible track conditions. They were the same for everyone but looking to the end of last season it appears to me that when Dani has the pace to run at the front his style is more aggressive than people like Lorenzo. Hard to be super aggressive with sand everywhere. He will be come back and be a serious title contender, not sure who will win though, it could go to any of the factory bikes this season.

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP: 'Dream come true' for Marquez

This kid is something else. Impressive in Moto2 and showed he can be just as impressive in the premier class. I'm a big Rossi fan so I hope the old guy takes the title this year because I think with a full season experience under his belt, Marquez will dominate from next year on. I can see him being the next Rossi. We'll see his true potential next round on a more level playing field with a new track and I think if he stays on the track the whole race, he'll be on the top step.

MotoGP » Rossi’s test Yamaha reveals… itself!

@ Dane That is true, we won't forget the Ducati seasons Just like we wont forget the epic battles, the race craft and the world championships.... all of them. And we wont forget when he came back to yamaha and motogp got a bit better to watch with some more exciting racing again. Even you will be on the edge of your seat. Sure you'll want to see him fail, but at least it will be worth watching again.
