MotoGP » MotoGP Race Director talks Rossi, Marquez incident

Awesome race by 2 great racers. You had to know MM would try to pass Rossi in that corner. After watching all off the replays from different angles it's pretty obvious Rossi had the advantage because MM was quite far behind. It was a bit of a bonzai move on his part but that's why we enjoy watching him race, right? And Rossi had his moments too. I'm not quite sure though what MM was expecting Rossi to do once he got himself into that position. If Rossi tried to stay on track it very likely would have ended in disaster. Rossi made the right decision and hitting the gas going over the curb was awesome. It carried the front wheel up when he hit the gravel. Lorenzo's post-race conference comments where classic!

MotoGP » MotoGP Race Director talks Rossi, Marquez incident

nitheshm:
Tony2: Really? Look up the video on Youtube. In 2005 they were wheel to wheel when Gibernau leant over into Rossi. Gibernau went off track because he didn't see Rossi not because Rossi "torpedoed" him.
YAWN. Typical excuse. Like i said in a previous post, when Rossi runs someone off the track, the Rossi fans put the blame on the victim instead of their demi-God. Go watch the video carefully and then watch Rossi's reply to the media. He said "sure that overtake was tough, sure Sete is angry but its racing". That was his level of arrogance 10 years ago that you "fans" don't mind because hey "anything can happen in racing" just not the other way around when someone does it to your demi god
Get a life dude.

SendingOutOfSpace: LOL FZ1 all the pain all the horror all the sorrow you feel and write down. you dont watch sinds 78. because you would never talk like that.! So keep feeling the way you do right now! what a child
What is all this pain and horror suff you keep referring to? It's boring to watch Lorenzo take off into the distance, just the same as it was with Stoner. The common thread between them is they never really raced with anyone and when they did usually always came up on the losing end. Hey, if you like to watch boring races with runaway leader's then that's your prerogative. Keep feeling the way I'm feeling? You mean bored watching the best sport in the world? And, yes, I've been following GP's since '78 so I guess I'm a little spoiled because I've seen a lot of great racing. Watching Lorenzo run away and hide isn't great racing. It's boring. I suspect you're a Lorenzo fanboy and English certainly isn't your first language due to your poor

MotoGP » Lorenzo: This can be our year

SendingOutOfSpace:
beastinblack: I hope he falls from the high pedestal he had made for himself. The sheer arrogance of this guy is why I do not like him.
LOL also for you keep feeling inside what you feel right now :) may it continue all year long :) GO JL GO YAMAHA
SendingOutofSpace, why are you so happy with the idea (and complete misinterpretation) with how other people feel when they express an opinion? I have to agree how this over-inflated opinion JL has of himself......and what was up with him laying on the ground on his back kicking his feet and arms in the air on the cool-off lap? That was pretty lame. Looking forward to MM sorting out his bike.....bye,bye JL!

MotoGP » MotoGP Mugello - Full Qualifying Results

subbhan: this proved again. since both yamaha and ducati use fully seamless gearbox like honda did, marquez is fully crap.. 2014 season, the championship should have 2 champions: first, champion used bike fully seamless and second, champions used half/none seamless gearbox..
What a *****ic comment. Did you actually watch qualifying, in particular Marquez? The guy was crossed-up going into the corner, steering into the slide mid-corner, and sliding out crossed-up again. Honda are having bike problems, kind of like what's happened to the other teams the last couple of years.

MotoGP » Marquez: Zero intention to cause the accident

I'm a huge fan of both riders. Both have made some very aggressive passes to win and will continue to do that in the future. I don't remember anyone really taking it to either rider though, and this is especially the case with Rossi. It looks like this may be the start of some serious racing if Rossi can maintain his form. Maybe by years end we'll be comparing the battles to those of Rainey and Schwantz. Hopefully their friendship can sustain it. On another note, I scrolled backwards through the older posts, when Rossi wasn't doing so well.....talk about merciless criticism towards Rossi. I imagine that idiot Fraud46 must have changed his alias to something else. Sadly, we're starting to see those same type of comments here.....Get a grip guys and enjoy what looks to be a great racing season.
