MotoGP » Top ten most popular MotoGP races

Blazin: Record attendances, thanks to Valentino Rossi. Without Vale, MotoGP was sunk and may yet sink again with the incompetent and disgraceful management of the sport since Philip Island last year. DORNA, as of today, have changed the penalty rules, so Rossi would not have had to start from the back of the grid at Valencia. Too late from the incompetents as they robbed all MotoGP fans of a grand finale. BUT from DORNA's perspective, they got what they really wanted, a Spanish champion, by collaboratively cheating the public. FORZA VR46
Get your facts right. The change in the penalty points system actually benefit Rossi moving into 2016 as the points he has have mostly been annulled. It wouldn't have made any difference to the penalty in Valencia. If you weren't so biased and stopped blaming others for the actions of your hero, you may actually get your facts right

Harris27: Maybe when he finally retires, we will lose all the "fans" that only watch because of him and not because of the sport...
Take a running jump mate. I'm a motorcyclist who's been following GP racing for over 30 years and before Valentino Rossi came along it was a minority sport, dying on it's feet. He brought excitement and glamour and charisma and the crowds followed. He has singlehandedly made MotoGP what it is today and when he retires I for one will still be riding my bike but I won't be following the antics of the discredited MotoGP circus any more. Might go back to WSB or might ride my bike a bit more. "not because of the sport" - what nonsense!.
Bye then... Spot-on

MotoGP » Two wins the target for Ducati

AyrtonSenna:
DamZen1: Ducati need to get their heads around the fact its Guys like Iannone and Reading that are going to make this bike a winner, the desire to win and the will to adapt to the bike is far easier than pouring millions into tailoring a bike to the likes of Dovi who couldn't manage to win on the RCV or factory backed Tech3 M1. A simple fact is a seasoned loser on a Ducati is not going to put a wheel infront of Rossis M1 or Danis RCV
Not a truer word spoken.
Everybody talks about Iannone being the next big thing (from the crash net MotoGP survey, he looks like being 2nd). The fact is, he is 30 years of age, not exactly a spring chicken, and the Ducati last year was probably equal or a close 2nd to the Yamaha.

MotoGP » MotoGP Star of the Year vote: 2nd

He had some decent races in 2015 I do agree but the Ducati was probably the 2nd best bike on the grid and his team mate was Dovi, somebody who only won 1 GP after 3 years on a factory Honda. He is only at number 2 because Rossi exonerated him of any blame after Philip Island, otherwise he would arch enemy number 2, after Marc of course. Pathetic really.....

ZeFrenchAngle: Right, I have now ACTUALLY read the article, after initially just reading the headline. Sipping my morning coffee and ..... I wonder sometimes if the Crash journalists actually understand MotoGP !! "Rossi exceeded expectations" ??? Very poor : Rossi finished SECOND in 2014 to Marquez - did you expect the GOAT of 9 World Titles NOT to try to win it THIS year ? R ossi was where HE expects to be ! "Accusing Marquez was surprising" ??? Who writes this stuff !!! Last year Marquez spent the season on Saturdays saying that his main rival for the Sunday was Jorge, despite Rossi being 2nd behind him most of the season. He started 2015 in the same way - each time he would say Jorge was his main rival. Then he started crashing each time Rossi passed him because he hated it ! If Rossi had not said anything after Phillip Island, confirmed by Iannone, Marquez WOULD STILL HAVE DONE IT AGAIN in Sepang ! Rossi knew that, he simply did not expect such an unbelievably

Matt2: Some dont see to understand this is not "who had more points" contest. Yes Lorenzo was the fastest and won title. But he was also little bitch, crying and throwing stuff around when Rossi didnt lose points in Marquez clash. Also in rain, hes shadow of himself. Not to mention, I have same HJC RPHA-10+ same as he, and I have NEVER had any problems like he had. Its not manufacturers fault you or your team cant assemble the helmet. The front part of helmet does not come loose on its own. It was bad assemble on Lorenzos crews part. As was foggy screen. Not manufacturers. He was like little kid who was mad because hes candy was messed up after sticking it in a sand. Lastly he was so scared Rossi he tried to put stick in Rossis wheels, even Yammu was mad about that. I dont know if he deserved 3th place in this contest put there is long list why he should not be up there...
With the exception of the helmet example, you have pretty much given an exact assessmen

hoppy: Yes Professor.i would like you to expand on what you mean by that statement too. What exactly are you referring to by corrupt culture?
Don't worry, he always spouts a load of garbage about how Dorna, Honda and Repsol are corrupt etc etc. He obviously knows something nobody else does or he is just talking through a hole in is backside....
