F1 » Hamilton: I’d rather anyone won but Nico…

107SS2009:
Darbo: would any driver seriously want there team mate to become world champion that would mean they had been beaten you would be very naive to think so and as a team boss do you really want a driver who is happy coming second i think not
Darbo, Correct in all you said, but have you ever heard any driver saying what Lulu is quoted as having said. Do you think what he said is correct as a team player/being part of a team? As for team bosses, as you have chosen to drag them into the subject, the question (proper) should be, Will any team boss agree or be happy if anyone of his two drivers said what Lulu is quoted as having said?
Lewis has just stated what every other top driver would say as well. Don't kid yourself that anybody else would say any different and I don't for one minute think Mercedes will be at all bothered with that statement.

MotoGP » Marquez: Expect more of the same Assen drama

Godzilla: I was beginning to be Marquez's big fan when he started winning two championship for the past 2 years. I did not know his true style because the Honda was extremely good and he hardly had any real fight. This year, I am hating him more and more whenever he gets on that beautiful Honda. This little brat has talent but he has no brain and no sportsmanship. I hope he will not kill anyone if he continue this torpedoing. The only way he learn how to be a real man is breaking one of his leg from his carelessness.
Get a grip. Words like hating and little brat are a bit harsh. The real issue here is that he tried it against Rossi, something I think if the roles were reversed Rossi would have done exactly the same as he has proved throughout his career.

MotoGP » Marquez: Expect more of the same Assen drama

Please remember Laguna Seca when Rossi dived up the inside of Stoner, forcing both off the track. That was seen as fantastic, exciting, brilliant racing because it was Rossi. When Stoner complained, he was seen as a moaning ######. Marquez tries the same on Rossi and all those who applauded the Laguna move are all up in arms about dangerous riding. Is it not a Rossi thing this, anything that is against him is negative, anything he does is positive?

richard:
Gilles: The only difference is that Lewis said it, all the other drivers think it and nobody would even bat an eyelid. As the saying goes, the first person you have to beat in your team mate. This is a non-story, only because it is Lewis do we get the negative comments, if it was Alonso or Vettel nobody would give a damn
no the difference is that no other driver would be stupid enough to say such a thing. there is absolutely no way you would ever hear ferdi or seb saying that!
No the difference is that Lewis said and the usual negative comments come from the usual people. It is a non-story, full stop.
