MotoGP » Doohan: No lines crossed in Marquez, Rossi clash

caferacer:
Lancsmann:
grantrd: Exactly Mick it is racing.........the line that was crossed was by Rossi expecting everyone to get out of his way to win the championship. He kicked a hornets nest and insulted Marquez in public because his ego was bruised that he was not on the podium in the best race of the year in Australia......He got stung and then expected Marquez to win the championship for him in Valencia.......the hypocrisy from Rossi is breathtaking...........
You are right Rossi, and I'm his biggest fan, started with silly mind games he should have kept his mouth shut and just raced. It backfired on him and he has no one to blame but himself for missing out on the title. He was not fast enough.
Silly you said it's because he lost the championship, but if he won it....i think you would say he's the master mind,am i right? Cmiiw
And if my aunt had a set of balls she would be my uncle....

MotoGP » ‘Time is a gentleman’ in Marquez, Rossi rift

Sasha Alexandrovich: Funny to read that according to some Honda and its riders should not fight for podiums, their own championship positions, for the team and for sponsor exposure because they were not in contention for the championship. Seriously, what the ****. According to that logic, lower end football teams should just let the top 5 walk over them because they cannot become champions anyway. **** that.
Well said, the Rossi fans just expect everybody to pull over. Imagine if Rossi had the advantage and Lorenzo was in Rossi's shoes. There would be uproar if Msrc or Dani had tried to overtake because in the small witted minds of the Rossi contingent, they weren't fighting for the championship. What's the difference?

Perenialnovice:
muratnik: I am a Rossi fan and I believe his own conduct lost him the title, whether or not Marc protected Jorge.
there are many permutations to the last 4 races. Rossi looked to be fast enough to fight JL in at least 1 or 2 of them. But for the intervention of a MM . MM has crossed the line, this was not a Spanish thing it was petty vindictiveness on MM part. The race VR took MM wide. What was he to do? MM was trying to kill VR. If you look at the pass he made just before VR did hid wide manoeuvre, you can see that enough was enough and VR had to do something about it. Because over the last 5 years RD have not. I completely blame RD for ruining the best season ever.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Wake me up when you've finished please

Hockus Pokus: Lorenzo already gave the game away, whether they admit it now or not the Spaniards wanted to see a Spanish champion. Definitely a backward step, MotoGP should always be an individual championship not a national one.
agreed, I don't think I have been so angry since Beckham got sent off in the world cup - or Ronald Kuman didn't get sent off same. I simply am not interested in anything MM does anymore. You have to feel sorry for JL, but the nob does not do himself any favours. Please please Rossi, take someone to court over this - it just aint right
That is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard...

nibbslang: It was obvious to most race fans that MM was protecting JL, he didn't even take a look at passing him but when DP passed him he couldn't have that, DP might win giving the Championship to Rossi so he stuffed it up the inside of DP to make sure JL won. Personally speaking I've had enough of the childishness of MotoGP and the cost of BT sport, its WSBK and BSB for me only next season.
Dani ran wide and even if Dani had overtaken, Lorenzo would have still won the championship by finishing 2nd. On you assumption that Marc wouldn't have overtaken, it is still the same result. You are obviously missing a very important point, so please do your homework before spouting off incorrect comments
What rubbish you speak, it was not about the last race, you are obviously a pro Marquez fan who wears rose tinted spectacles!!
No I agree, it was about Dani beating Rossi in Spain or Iannone beating Rossi in PI or or or ...... In your eyes, it is wrong for anybody to fight with Rossi but your expectation is they MUST fight with Lorenzo. And you obviously wear yellow tinted spectacles...

MotoGP » Zeelenberg: Never a moment for Marquez to dive through

It doesn't matter when Lin Jarvis and Zeelenberg both back up what is obvious to everybody. That is, with the exception of all Rossi fans as the first comment on this thread truly shows. Get the blinkers off, even if Rossi wasn't sent to the back of the grid, he would have still finished 4th. He only had the 5th fastest race lap. As the old Eagles song said "Get over it"

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I'll give everything to get this title

AnOldTimer:
BMWR1200GSA: Jorge you should have taken a leaf out of Dani's book and said nothing but no you opened your mouth and now you have been made to look like a little brat. The incident had nothing to do with you you did not even see it so why open your mouth?
I realize that you are just trying to stir the pot, but the question itself is legit. Jorge has a strong sense of honor, fair play, and rider safety. He spoke up when Simoncelli was riding out of control. He spoke up with the concerns over Motegi in 2011. He spoke up when Marc was riding dangerously. He spoke up when Rossi dangerously took out his frustrations on the track. It's part of his character. Dani's a good guy, but is seldom the first one to speak out against the madness.
Agreed, but he did speak out and said it was damaging etc to MotoGP what happened in Sepang.
