F1 » Hamilton/Mercedes contract talks on hold

@Richard, it is impossible to compare drivers from different eras. To question that Lewis hasn't driven saloons is just silly. How many other F1 drivers have driven saloons, I'll tell you, none of them unless they did on their way to F1. Clark was a fantastic driver but he did always have the best car. Was he better than Lewis, probably, was he better than Schumacher or Lauda or Prost or Senna? Who knows......

F1 » Hamilton ‘very shocked’ by team order

@107, wow, you are so out of touch. I can only imagine what your comment would have been if the roles were reversed, ie, Lewis starting from pole and then asking for Nico to move over? Do you dislike Lewis so much that you can't see the wood for the trees? Even Richard, who normally slags off Lewis agrees. As for the running off the track, that was later in the race and for position. Nico did the same to Kimi, I don't hear you complaint about that. Try and post unbiased opinions please.

F1 » Hamilton: Usual rules didn’t apply

What I don't understand is why everybody believes Nico would have won. FFS he was stuck behind Vergne, then couldn't get within a second of Hamilton so what makes you think he could have passed Alonso, probably the hardest defender out there. All that would have happened is that they would have continued as they were but with Nico ahead of Lewis by around 1second. And anyway, the team have admitted it was wrong to ask Lewis to do that, just as Williams said it was wrong to ask Massa earlier in the year.
