MotoGP » Rossi accuses Marquez of helping Lorenzo

Marc was catching Jlo by around 0.2-0.3 seconds per lap and he was dragging Rossi with him while leaving Iannone behind. Then Rossi does a do or die up the inside which let Iannone through. He did this twice during the race. During the race, Marc signalled to Rossi to go after Jlo, in other words, work together and we will catch him. Rossi shouldn't have stuffed it up the inside and let Iannone pass, simple really, he only has himself to blame.

F1 » Red Bull engine crisis worsens after Ferrari 'rejection'

richard: what a sad day for f1! any non manufacturing team should have a right to a competitive engine. renault could not supply one, so the team had every right and duty to lok around. by both merc and ferrari refusing to supply a pu to a team that has shown itself to be one of the top teams, merc and ferrari are now trying to control the sport. and that is a bad thing. rbr have to consider if it is worth throwing money down the drain by either running at the back with renault, or to pull out and save money. they are a commercial concern, and if f1 is dragging them down, then they are right to walk away. contd[\ It happens all the time. Think of Williams or McLaren losing Honda and having to take Cosworth/Peugeot engines. The difference is, both of these teams had to endure a couple of years of pain before they got their engine supply deal back on track, something that RBR aren't willing to do. They should have worked with Renault....

F1 » Hamilton, Mercedes keep Italian GP win

Taipan: -Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport reports that Pirelli subsequently called on the FIA for assistance to enforce its rules, with “harsh penalties” to await those who push their luck- Yeah that's really harsh man.....
The tyre pressures were supervised with a Pirelli engineer. When the car left the pits the tyre pressure were correct. That is the rule at the moment, take the pressure in a controlled environment, not on the grid or and the end of the race.

F1 » FOM: Thank you Pirelli for delivering excitement to F1 fans...

Vincero: FOM: Thank you for delivering excrement to F1 fans... I'm surprised the PR people were able to get that statement out without surgical removal for brown-nosing.[\ There have been tyre failures since F1 first started and there will continue to be tyre failures. Remember Mansell in 1986 or Kimi's tyre blowing with a couple of laps to go in a McLaren. A couple of races ago, the front wing on the Force India exploded, imagine that happening at Eau Rouge?.. I don't hear anybody criticising them. As for boycotting Pirelli, do what you want, they probably don't make tyres for your Ford Fiesta 1.1 anyway.

MotoGP » ‘Loose rear feeling’ puts Redding outside top ten

@Don R, agree wholeheartedly with your comments. It just goes to show what a difficult bike the Honda is to ride fast. Both Cal and Redding had the opportunity to ride for Ducati this year but they were blinkered by Marquez's results last year, thinking the Honda is a golden ticket for success. Just goes to show how well Marquez is riding. It brings to mind how everybody wanted a Ducati when Stoner was winning, the truth is, only Stoner got the best out of that bike on a consistent basis, the same as Marquez on the Honda
