F1 » Hamilton 'pleased to prove people wrong'

'Lulu's fan boy logic'...all very new to me this foreign text. .anyway that's not why I'm replying. .really it's not good to tar everyone with the same brush. .It was Lewis's introduction to f1 what got me back watching it again after what seemed a decade of Ferrari and Schumacher domination. .We all aren't ignorant of the workings of this great sport. .In my case just maybe a little rusty :)

F1 » Coulthard: Whitmarsh under pressure

Richard. ..it's not one poor result. .it's spans back to when he took the helm from Dennis. .it's been gaff after gaff after gaff..pit stop errors. .mechanical errors tactical errors. .the subject matter goes on and on. .much like me :) You mentioned Ross Brawn. .yes, I agree it didn't work out well to start with. .I've reason to believe it was a mistake takin on Schumacher. . Now he's gone things are looking brighter. even Totto has had a change of heart since testing in Spain. Totto has even said he doesn't know where Paddy is gonna fit in. .i guess it all depends on how the season pans out. .what luxury!

Mark....it's all about qualy!!...With these bull rubbish tyres and pay drivers to deal with you wanna be as far in front as possible. .Most of the top cars are all within a 1.0. .qualy is everything. .which when this question was posed to McLaren by the media (after the appointment of another poor qualifier in the guise of Perez) they had the same answer as you 'qualy isn't everything'...unbelievable! ...It's be said Vodafone jumped coz of Bahrain. .I have my doubts on that. .

F1 » Button: We're not suddenly going to be competitive

@ Jim Crint. ..it wasn't a puncture what caused his beaching at start of pit lane it was no rubber on the tyre! ..i wonder who made that call for him to stay out. .surely McLaren's finest was responsible for that whoopsy..it only cost him a world championship. .With Lewis, McLaren have been punching above their weight. unfortunately now, with Lewis and Co gone the proverbial wheels wheels will undoubtedly fall off. ..Jenson is a wise man so when he said before testing commenced that the latest car was miles better than the previous folks listened. .so I'm thinking here. .that wasn't Jenson's words but the words of McLaren. .just like his tv commercials for all who will pay are nonsense. .Can't blame Jenson, he spent most of his f1 years back of the grid with Honda. .so to say he wants to retire a McLaren driver hell why not. .the guy is thankful. ..

Jim Crint ...Thanks for that :) Those great drivers weren't all on the track at the same time. .out of the eleven, 5 became world champions...Keke was early 80's...the others collected there's quite close together. .no coincidence that it was Brabham ( thanks to it's special fuel ) McLaren Williams and Ferrari picking up most if not all the accolades. .As for the Schumacher years well, we all know they (Ferrari) had the regs and the officials buttoned up..they were untouchable. .right up until Spa 2008 they were pulling the strings of Moseley. .that Monday I broke my kitchen door I I kicked it that hard. .anyway, today we have 5 world champions in their prime on the grid. .For me, this is the golden era

Ferrari have got it right. .a number 1 and 2 driver off from the start. .no waiting around until 5 or so races down the line to see what's what. .not the way to win a constructors but who ever remembers those. ..the last time I remember Ferrari pitting driver against driver was with Perroni and Villeneuve..look what happened their! Its my opinion Ross Brawn is today's top team principle ..we didn't get the chance to see driver tactics on Sunday apart frm the ill gotten plan to jump the others on a 2 stopper :(. .no doubt we will sooner or later see them come to the fore We all know the cream always rise to the top :)
