Switching to BBC during the breaks I couldn''t believe how awful their commentary was, you''d think they were reporting on a dog show not one of the best races for ye**** Is this what we have to look forward to next season? They''ve got to press gang Ryder and Moody for the job!!!!!

Watching a re-run of the race last night, I wonder if at the time, Stoner was even aware that Rossi had to go off road when he passed him "unsportingly". He might have a different opinion now he's had a chance to see a video of the race. :?

Scott winning last week could have done Bradley a massive favour by shifting the pressure of expectancy off him. Good luck to the pair of you.

I can't believe this, we've got three riders in the 125's who could all get in the top six this weekend yet all they get is a P.S at the end of the article.

Buelliful. Hodgson would say that wouldn't he, it makes his regular 4th spot behind Spies look impressive. Mind you, Spies is showing better form than Hayden was when in AMA. Of all the current AMA riders, he'd be the one to kick **** in MotoGP -one day - but on the right bike. Is the Suzuki the bike to ruffle feathers with? I reckon so IF they can get the tyres to engine power ratio right. When you see these teams struggle with set up it hits home what a genius JB is (apart from last week haha).

I'd like to know the viewing figures for the 125 and 250 races. I'm sure, like me everyone here will watch anything that has an engine and two wheels but when it comes to global viewing how many just tune in to Rossi show? If as I suspect the figures are dire (except in Italy and Spain where most of the riders are from these countries), then this might be proof that the major manufacturers are behind the prospected upgrade to 600s. Similarly how many watch SS racing, preferring to watch WSB? The 600 class is just not getting the exposure required by Honda et al to sell more and more 600 sports bikes. Just a theory.

Any 600cc production engine in a prototype chassis, it's the cheapest way to go! Posted by Someone - Unregistered (23 hours ago) This is a very practical way forward and allow the likes of KR, Harris, Spondon etc back in the game. The smaller classes must be a pain in the **** to the big manufacturers. From a marketing prospective (and this is the only reason manufacturers go racing in the first place) they feel they have done enough by investing in the blue ribband class and they wouldn't necessarily sell any more bikes on the strength of 125/250 success. Aprillia back it to the hilt cos it's their (for the most part) marketplace. I bet Honda's started this kafuffle.
