MotoGP » ‘Weekend to forget’ for Pedrosa

Pedrosa would be nowhere if it wasn’t for the fact he was riding a factory Honda. Nicky Hayden managed to win a world championship with Honda and he had much less time with them, fighting against an in-his-prime Rossi. Pedrosa should have stuck with 250/moto2 it’s more in keeping with his tiny build. I think a lot of people would’ve liked to see another rider on that bike.

F1 » Hamilton cost Rosberg win chance – Wolff

You have the manufacturer’s championship and you have the driver’s championship. In certain scenarios such as exist in the Mercedes team there is inevitable conflict. If a situation arises that jeopardises the outcome of the manufacturer’s or driver’s championship then I think team orders may be justified. Otherwise it should be to the driver’s discretion i.e. let them race.

MotoGP » Marquez: Strategy was to copy Dani and Valentino

My strategy is to stop watching motogp until the other riders have bikes capable of winning races. MM didn’t have it all is own way in Moto 2 because the bikes are more evenly matched. The Honda factory bikes disappeared at the German GP. I mean Pedrosa is a good rider but he’s not THAT much better than Lorenzo or Rossi and he slaughtered them or rather the bike did.

MotoGP » Rossi mistake ends Marquez victory battle

One thing I think Rossi deserves a lot of recognition for is the fact that he moved from Honda to Yamaha an inferior bike and still managed to win world championships. I mean Nicky Hayden (no disrespect) managed to win a WC on the RCV, could he of done the same on a M1????? If MM really wants to prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that he is world number #1. Then either he needs to move to Yamaha or Lorenzo/Rossi need to move to Honda. As some people (me included) will always wonder how much of it’s the bike and how much is the rider. Pedrosa has never really gotten the full potential out of the Honda, Stoner and MM both proved that given a top level rider the RCV is impossible to beat. Neither of those riders needed a warm up year either, they just got on the bike and won it.
