MotoGP » LCR Honda confirms Cal Crutchlow

Well , Ducati and Cal haven't worked, so maybe this will. As long as Cal gets some better results he will be happy. He isn't going to win, but he might do a lot better than he did over the last year. Thing is, Cal had enough people warning him about his move to Ducati and the likely outcome, but he seemed to think he was going to work wonders!!

MotoGP » Leon Camier steps in for healing Hayden

It's such a shame that a talented rider like Leon has to contend with being a stand in ! In WSB, he actually did a really good job replacing Barrier, but had to move on when Barrier returned from injury - same will happen here when Nicky is better. I suppose he can show just what he can do on a bike, but where is that going to get him as he was always a good rider, but just had bad luck being Max Biaggi's team mate, and having to ride fairly crap bikes!! Leon deserves much better things.

MotoGP » Cal Crutchlow stays at Ducati

Let's hope Cal shuts up and gets on with the job then !! Nowt worse than a rider who constantly whinges about a bike being a pile of **** when it always had that reputation!!! I would assume that Ducati have persuaded Cal that their 2015 bike is going to be wonderful !!!!!!! I can see deja-vu being on the cards to be honest, but that will be something for Cal to contend with as he probably hasn't had much choice as to where he goes.

MotoGP » Mixed feelings for Rossi at mid-point of 2014

You have to admit, this wasn't a usual sort of race, in fact, I have never seen anything like it !! The queue of riders in pit lane waiting to set off was ridiculous and it is a wonder there wasn't a big crash or at least one of them coming a cropper!! Something else has to be thought of in the sort of conditions that forced most of the grid to have to change bikes, then line up at the end of pit lane, then all set off and barge each other out of the way to get on to the track!! In this day and age, this shouldn't be happening. Valentino did well in my opinion to finish 4th as this race was all over the place.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: 2016 ‘year zero’ for MotoGP

Valentino has already raced on all sorts of different bikes, and is used to bikes with no or a lot less electronic aids, so is very adept at changing his riding style to suit. It is whether or not the younger riders who have always been supported by the amount of electronics on their bikes will be able to adapt to the changes needed. Some would say that there are a lot of riders who wouldn't be there if it wasn't for the amount of electronics on bikes these days, so it is going to be very interesting indeed !!.
