MotoGP » Nicky Hayden makes Honda RC213V-RS debut

NH did that achievement without much support from HRC. Puig was pushing all the buttons and the last thing he wanted was Hayden to win, and Puig working for Repsol, HRC, and Dorna meant he could do what he wanted. Hayden was on an experimental bike with a clutch that wouldn't go race distance and HRC did as little as possible to help him even though he was on the bike to help HRC, while Pedrosa was on the proven bike. What Hayden did probably more to win the championship than any Euro rider has had to do in since the four stoke era started. I can't for the life of me figure out why he went back to Honda. They have never really supported him, and he thinks they will now? I understand he wants to keep living the dream, but he should have taken the Ducati WSBK offer and had a better chance of being a winner again.

MotoGP » de Puniet urges Suzuki to consider satellite entry

I don't ever remember Suzuki having a satellite team, and their riders all end up having to work their butts off because of it. Look at Schwatz through his whole career. True, part of it was just him, but some of it was because he had too. I also think that Suzuki is still looking for the next #34 to ride the wheels off their bike instead of building a better bike.

MotoGP » Crutchlow: If we can alter my bike we’ll get results

The bikes now are so close to edge that any one thing wrong will put a rider behind. Still it seems there is a lack of ability to ride through it, or maybe it's just not possible anymore. But I remember Wayne Rainey saying that he would go out on the worst tire Dunlop had just so he knew what could happen, and have a little knowledge if it all went south on him. I just don't see that anymore.

MotoGP » Nicky Hayden gets hand checked

I remember when he was so pissed at the 2006 bike that he blew up about it on camera. The clutch would fry at the start causing him nothing but grief during the rest of the race. It kept happening even after he was in the points lead. Then he found out that his rookie team mate was getting updated parts the Nicky wasn't and he really went off.

MotoGP » Brivio: Suzuki not in talks with Pedrosa - yet

Suzuki's biggest hang up from the start o the 4-stroke days is the half ****d riders they kept bringing on. Roberts was okay, but he was getting old, Hopper was a total waste of time as well as everyone else they had. They need a fast rider with some experience. I could see Hayden going there because Jordan is his buddy and is looking to go GP, but Pedrosa is still a great rider and Suzuki would do well to get him. But Hayden an Pedrosa on the same team again would be very unlikely.
