MotoGP » Crutchlow: If we can alter my bike we’ll get results

The bikes now are so close to edge that any one thing wrong will put a rider behind. Still it seems there is a lack of ability to ride through it, or maybe it's just not possible anymore. But I remember Wayne Rainey saying that he would go out on the worst tire Dunlop had just so he knew what could happen, and have a little knowledge if it all went south on him. I just don't see that anymore.

MotoGP » Nicky Hayden gets hand checked

I remember when he was so pissed at the 2006 bike that he blew up about it on camera. The clutch would fry at the start causing him nothing but grief during the rest of the race. It kept happening even after he was in the points lead. Then he found out that his rookie team mate was getting updated parts the Nicky wasn't and he really went off.

MotoGP » Brivio: Suzuki not in talks with Pedrosa - yet

Suzuki's biggest hang up from the start o the 4-stroke days is the half ****d riders they kept bringing on. Roberts was okay, but he was getting old, Hopper was a total waste of time as well as everyone else they had. They need a fast rider with some experience. I could see Hayden going there because Jordan is his buddy and is looking to go GP, but Pedrosa is still a great rider and Suzuki would do well to get him. But Hayden an Pedrosa on the same team again would be very unlikely.

MotoGP » Nicky Hayden to Aspar Honda

I'm with you rsvman. HRC supported the rookie B rider more than the A rider in 2006, and when Hayden won the championship through a lot of luck and hard riding on his part with a bike that was "experimental", the toads built the 2007 bike all around Dani, and what has he done for them since. Seen new riders come in to Honda and kick his butt. Its all about the passport and Edwards would say.
