WSBK » POLL: Who will win the 2014 WSBK title?

I'd have to be given good odds to bet against Sykes. He rode really well last year and the Kawasaki is a strong bike now that they've worked out how to stop it chewing its tires. None of the other manufacturers have made any massive changes to their bikes this year as far as I'm aware so I think it is going to be hard for them to make much gains this year.

WSBK » Matt Roberts joins Eurosport WSBK, BSB coverage

Hayden is not the most polished of presenters but he does know a lot about the sport and is genuinely enthusiastic. Conversely, Roberts comes across as knowing naff all about motorbikes, just doing a presenter's job. I'd rather listen to Hayden, cringeworthy mannerisms and all. I'd take Whitham, Hodgeson, Mamola or even Stavros (provided he's awake!) over any of the non- ex roadracer pundits any day.. The only exception was Burnicle IMO. But at least now I won't have to listen to Cox blathering the same nonsense phrases every race, so I should be thankful for small mercies I guess.

MotoGP » Honda vows MotoGP withdrawal over ECU plans

I'm always puzzled by the assertion that Honda are not subject to the same economics as other manufacturers. Also I look at the farce F1 has become with its over regulated ridiculous looking cars with arcade style kers and drs. And also, last I remembered, both 250 and 500cc two stroke GPs ended up being virtually one make series by the end, Honda in 500 and Aprilia in 250cc. If Honda take their toys home then only Yamaha factory riders will be taking silverware home. So that means Jorge vs 1 rider, at best. At least at the moment it is Jorge vs Marquez and Dani. Be careful what you wish for folks. If GPs became a spec series I wonder who'd end up supplying the engines?
