F1 » Vettel: You shouldn’t be at war with your team-mate….

Yes mate. In your case the team-mate just should stay behind you watching. You are not the only one on that matter. Alonso, Schumacher never liked to be challenged by their team-mates. I guess that every driver likes to be the no.1 at his team but they have to earn it. After all your team-mate is the first person you want to beat. Anyway Vettel is right when meaning howeverr fierce the rivalry between two team-mates can be, the drivers should remain professional.

F1 » Alonso: We need to find perfection

107SS2009: Everybody is waiting to see how good a step the B version is comared to the A.
Sunny, I really hope that Ferrari will be a lot closer to Mercedes this weekend. I know that Mercedes still will be faster but I hope not to see a repeat of China. After the bad start Rosberg got in Shanghai he still managed to come 2nd(only behind his team-mate) with relative ease. Or in Bahrain, after the SC, the Mercedes duo managed to build a gap over 20s in just 10 laps. Someone need to challenge them. For the sake of the season.

F1 » Magnussen hoping for problem-free weekend in Canada

Kevin, you are asking too much for this weekend. Having a problem free weekend in Montreal is very difficult indeed, the track is very demanding and the weather is very unsettled. With the straights of Montreal, I believe that Mercedes customer teams will be a lot closer to Red Bull and Ferrari, so a lot off stuff can happen there. Just be a bit more careful when you races Kimi. The Fin is very proffesional and he doesn't deserve to have collisions.

F1 » Six of the Best: Inglorious Comebacks

As for Keke, I don't agree about he should have continued with McLaren. The McLaren-TAG couldn't beat the Williams-Honda and even Lotus-Honda and later Ferrari were matching McLaren in 1987. I think Keke was very unlucky, a bit like Alonso in recent years. He tried very hard to tame the Williams-Honda in 1984, 1985 but McLaren-TAG was too strong for them. Then he switched teams exactly when Williams became stronger than McLaren and the rest of the field. I wonder how he felt in 1986 watching both Williams drivers having so much success and he struggling in a McLaren designed around Alain Prost. That's touch luck.

F1 » Six of the Best: Inglorious Comebacks

@here4thesun2 I remember reading somewhere that Andretti didn't like the ground effects that some teams had been developing back then. It is said that the car weren't nice to drive and ground effects were the cause of many accidents. The british teams i.e Williams, McLaren, Lotus, Brabham were very advanced on the solutions of ground effects, meanwhile the large european manufacters i.e Ferrari, Renault focused more on their turbocharged engines than aerodynamics. By 1983 ground effects were disallowed so the turbocharged teams(Ferrari, Renault, Brabham with a BMW Turbo engine) dominated the 1983 F1 season. So Andretti looked good with a turbocharged Ferrari but not with a ground effects Williams, despite both teams being very competitve, one of them won the WCC and the other won the WDC.

F1 » Six of the Best: Inglorious Comebacks

In the case of Mansell, before joining McLaren he had a few runs with Williams back in 1994 and it wasn't bad, a pole and victory after Schumacher crashed on Hill at the last race. His time at McLaren was very bad indeed, the car wasn't nowhere at his liking, and he never had a good relationship with Ron Dennis. Mario Andretti too had a brief return into F1 back in 82 with mixed results. When he replaced Reutemann at Long Beach, he was far back compared to his teammate and the eventual 82 world champion Keke Rosberg. He had a few outings for Ferrari as well that year. His pole at Monza showed he still had the speed but everyone need a bit of time to adapt to a new team. Just look at Kimi. Now he's matching Alonso while a few races ago he didn't came close to him.

F1 » Hulkenberg revelling in best run

@richard and taipan Of course that Firestorm is not my name, I just find it cool. When I was a kid I had a video game with guns and warfare. I red firestorm for the first time at that game and I really liked it. Anyway that's not the same as me posting in the name of Alain Prost, or still worst in the name of Fernando Alonso despite these men being my idols. Or as Taipan said in the case of Hamilton(he didn't mention names but you can't figure out) trying to be the next Senna and identifying as Prost every strong rival he has.

F1 » Hulkenberg revelling in best run

AyrtonSenna: Good driver. Wonder how he would handle the factory merc?
He's very talented and I praised him many times in the past. But I can't see how can he improve the results of the current Mercedes drivers. They finished 1st and 2nd at every race until now, with the exception of Melbourne where Hamilton's car failed. Hulkenberg is a very good driver but the Mercedes duo are as well. P.S: Why you are using as a nickname "Ayrton Senna"? Don't take it as a personal attack, I don't mean it, but what you ever did in your life, in order to use that great name? I dislike when users choose drivers names as their nicknames. Is like trying to steal their personality. Just my opinion.

F1 » What we learned at the Monaco Grand Prix

I learned that Rosberg is committed enough in order to win the title, as much as Hamilton. The controversy of qualifying was a great victory for Rosberg. Deliberate or not it did blow Hamilton's momentum and I believe that their rivalry will get fiercer, which will be good for F1. Canada will play on Hamilton strength, he performes wonders on Gilles Villeneuve's circuit. But the next circuits should be more leveling. Let's enjoy Mercedes civil war.
