F1 » Newey: Leaving Red Bull like walking out on your wife

As a fan of Ferrari, I would like that Newey walks out of his wife. I red somewhere that his wife and his family in general doesn't like to move from England, so a job in Maranello was out of question. I never visited the UK but I can say that northern Italy is very beautiful and interesting. With 20 milions per year, you can have a lot of fun there. And last but not least, he would be working for FERRARI, the most famous brand in F1. Anyway I always respected the genious of aerodynamics, so I have to respect his choices. But for sure I will miss him and his designs. Good luck Mr. Newey!

F1 » Newey admits he needed new challenge

Taz: Smart move by red bull, give him the freedom he wants and keeps him from working for rival teams.
Agree with you Taz. Adrian Newey has an incredible career in F1, succeding at every team he worked. Many drivers won the title with his cars. Mansell, Prost, Hill and Villeneuve won a title each in Newey's designed Williams cars, 4 WDC with 4 different drivers out of 6 seasons. That alone speaks enough about Newey. After that he brought back McLaren at the very top and he put RBR from the midfield at the hall of fame. I would like he joined Ferrari from 2015 and on. I am sure he would put Ferrari, the most illustrious team in F1, back in the road and maybe win a few titles as well. Anyway I am happy that Newey will continue to do what he likes most, this time without much restrictions.

F1 » Horner full of praise for faultless Ricciardo

So we have five champions, everyone being on trouble. All of them race for the richest teams, who was supposed to be the best teams on the grid. Four of our champions already are effectively out of the title race, with Hamilton the only one who can beat Rosberg. But Lewis lost his momentum in Monaco, so it won't be easy for him either. At Red Bull it is Ricciardo getting the silver spoon, leaving Vettel with the wooden one. The form of Ferrari and McLaren is pathetic, they are not a factor in this season. After watching Vettel, Alonso et al getting the headlines for several years, who might thought that in 2014 they would look such vulnerable.

F1 » Ricciardo snatches win in Canada thriller

richard, come on, give some credit to Riccardo. There were many things happening here and there in Montreal today. Vettel was upheld by the Hulkenberg so Riccardo closed in and leapfrogged him after both made their pit stops. But guess what! I don't believe Vettel could have won it if the Mercedes was reliable today. That's F1 mate. That's it has to be, with unexpected events, drama ect. Not just the fastest car leading the 2nd fastest car, who in turn leading the 3rd fastest car ect, like a procession.

F1 » Horner full of praise for faultless Ricciardo

There were many(including me) who were downplaying Ricciardo's abilities before the season started. But now I am considering him as the driver of the year. This season is bringing the champions back to earth. The Montreal circuit always has been one of Hamilton's strongest. But he got beaten by Rosberg on Saturday and he wasn't finding a way past on Sunday as well, despite running very close to his team-mate. Vettel has been very unlucky this year, but the legend of the german wunderkind is gone now. After all he's not such superior, he's not unbeatable, in an ordinary car. Many people said that Alonso and Raikkonen are able to overhaul the deficit of their cars and challenge the guys on better cars. They did it in the past years with Ferrari and Lotus. The F14T must be very bad indeed because both of them are looking quite ordinary drivers at the moment. Button also is being hampered by a bad car despite him showing the way to Magnussen, who's a rookie after all. (continued)

F1 » Canadian Grand Prix – Race results

rob01: Sunny, the B version sucks as well. Time to compromise 2015. Had Massa and perez not wrecked they wouldn't have scored points.
One of the worst Ferrari's I've seen in 20 years, a waste of Alonso's talent.
Taipan I am very dissapointed as well. They were not going to challenge Mercedes this year but RBR definitively got out of their range as well. On the bright side I think they might still challenge and beat their old rivals McLaren and Williams for third in the WCC, with Force India on the mix as well.
