F1 » Ricciardo snatches win in Canada thriller

richard, come on, give some credit to Riccardo. There were many things happening here and there in Montreal today. Vettel was upheld by the Hulkenberg so Riccardo closed in and leapfrogged him after both made their pit stops. But guess what! I don't believe Vettel could have won it if the Mercedes was reliable today. That's F1 mate. That's it has to be, with unexpected events, drama ect. Not just the fastest car leading the 2nd fastest car, who in turn leading the 3rd fastest car ect, like a procession.

F1 » Ricciardo snatches win in Canada thriller

What the hell of a race. A lot of drama anmd excitement. That's what I have been asking for years: UNRELIABILITY. The battle between the Mercedes dou was very trilling indeed before they come into trouble. But their loss of power spiced up the show. Well done to Ricciardo but to Rosberg as well for nursing the car despite having several problems. Go Formula 1!

F1 » Canadian Grand Prix – Race results

rob01: Sunny, the B version sucks as well. Time to compromise 2015. Had Massa and perez not wrecked they wouldn't have scored points.
One of the worst Ferrari's I've seen in 20 years, a waste of Alonso's talent.
Taipan I am very dissapointed as well. They were not going to challenge Mercedes this year but RBR definitively got out of their range as well. On the bright side I think they might still challenge and beat their old rivals McLaren and Williams for third in the WCC, with Force India on the mix as well.

F1 » Hamilton hopes for Ferrari, Red Bull battle

Lewis means that he wants Ferrari and Red Bull to take points from Rosberg. Whatever he does he just take 7 points from Rosberg so it will still be close. The Chinese GP is a perfect example of it, after the bad start he got, Rosberg still finished 2nd with relative ease. We will see what Lewis will say when RBR or Ferrari will get ahead of him. Sooner or later it will happen. But I will say later, looking at the advantage that Mercedes enjoys at the moment.

F1 » Alonso ‘reasonably pleased’ despite FP1 time

I will be reasonably pleased if Alonso and Raikkonen finishes this race within 10s of the Mercedes duo and ahead the rest of the field. That would be a good step forward, the first step on their quest to challenge Mercedes at the 2nd half of the season. Maybe I am asking too much, but I want to be optimistic especially after I was on the downside after Ferrari's performance at the Spanish GP.

F1 » Button: I have a lot more to give

Watching this picture of Button and Alonso, drivers of McLaren and Ferrari, I thought: Can Ferrari and McLaren give more for the sport? They are the two most succesful teams in history of F1 and have already given very much to this sport. I guess that they also had a lot of fans around the world, maybe more than any other team. But their performance has been embarrasing in recent months. As Wolff and Horner said, is not that Mercedes and RBR have bigger budgets or better facilities than Ferrari and McLaren, is just because they use their resources (especially their human resources) in a smart way. Many highly rated people at RBR and Mercedes, or even at Ferrari had been previously McLaren employees. The good new is that both teams are trying to fight back. McLaren with Honda and trying to get back Alonso. Ferrari trying to retain Alonso and lure Adrian Newey.
