F1 » Raikkonen’s Ferrari return confirmed

lol @ runnah. Why does it bug you so much? It's just an expression, no? Can the FIA introduce restrictions for the top teams to stop grabbing the best drivers and creative people from smaller teams? Not just Raikonnen, but James Alison poached from Lotus by Ferrari. Wishful thinking I know...like asking Man U and Chelsea to stop grabbing the best players from the smaller teams!

F1 » Raikkonen’s Ferrari return confirmed

If I were in Boullier's shoes, I would wait till as late as possible before making my move. Here's why: Grosjean needs to get his act together big time and convince me he deserves that seat for next year. Showing flashes of speed every other race is not going to be enough! Because Ferrari have grabbed my prized possession, I now have to be really canny in my choice of drivers. Hulk and Kobayashi? Grosjean and Hulk? Maybe even DiResta? Or Bianchi.....for a few years before Ferrari grab him back? Guess we're going to have silly season part 2 for the next few weeks.

F1 » Stewart: Raikkonen move 'destabilising' for Alonso

They've got the drivers. Now they need the right car. The WCC is well within reach, because these two will double-team and overpower Ricciardo, no doubt. If the team can deliver a car that's also fantastic in quali, then Vettel is within striking distance. It will be up to Domenicali to manage things from there. He may have his work cut out, because these two are superstars. LCDM will be running out of patience, and heads may roll if there is no silverware next year!

F1 » Massa confirms Ferrari departure

Webber is also a nice guy and another number 2 driver, yet the same posters say he's rubbish and needs to go because he can't beat Vettel in the Red Bull. The bias against Ferrari and Alonso is clear for all to see! One other quick point: Over the years, other teams have also had a 1-2 driver policy, but will keep telling the world that they "always let their drivers race"! As if we are all blind or something....

F1 » Massa confirms Ferrari departure

lol @ some crash posters. You guys never cease to amaze me. Ferrari have NEVER hidden their 1-2 driver policy. The drivers that go there know that before they sign the contract, including Barrichello and Johnny Herbert before him. Don't let your hatred of Alonso blind you to that fact! Ferrari will back whichever driver grabs the bull (or prancing horse) by the horns and makes the number 1 position his own! Massa is a good guy, but he was always a number 2 (to Michael and Kimi, before Alonso arrived). So I don't understand all this hand-wringing that's now going on. And I think Ferrari gave him more than enough time to prove himself, accident or no accident. They stayed loyal to him, despite the poor results. Also, are you all saying Ferrari should have kept him on, for him to remain a number 2 forever? Are you feeling sorry for him for staying or going?? MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!

F1 » Vettel hails 'fantastic win' in Monza

Quote whitew: Webber has done very little in the same car What?? In F1, the margins of victory and defeat can be very tiny. How many times over the years have we heard the words that Mark has no KERS, no this and no that. Yesterday he had Alonso in his sights for that 1-2 and he had to start short-shifting. Vettel is a great and dominant champion, but Webber is not as bad a driver as he sometimes looks on TV. All is not always what is appears on paper, when final results are announced. Plus he has always brought home the points to ensure WCC titles for Red Bull, but people easily forget that.

F1 » Massa helps Ferrari back into second spot

If Kimi goes back to Ferrari and if Adrian Newey and Vettel stay at Red Bull for the next few years......then.... Ferrari will either develop a car that will justify allowing Alonso and Kimi to race each other fairly and still challenge Vettel for the WDC... or They will have made the biggest mistake, because the car will still NOT be fast enough and Alonso and Kimi will take points off each other to the end and Vettel will cruise to his 5th and 6th straight titles - and the tifosi will become even unhappier. Unless Lewis can do something about it.....
