MotoGP » Pedrosa: Arm better than expected

Nick636: Am I the only one who thinks the only reason he is still in the factory team is because of the nationality of both himself and the long time title sponsor? This SHOULD be his last season with this team. He has had MORE than enough time on this bike and should step aside for someone else. Crutchlow is showing just how competitive he can be and I feel he would be great on the Repsol bike.
Since Dani has been in the Repsol team he has had team mates from various countries including USA, Australia, Italy and Spain, so to me that does not suggest you have to be Spanish to be in the Repsol team. He is in the Repsol team because he is one of the best motorcycle riders in the world. Honda obviously think that is true, but then what would they know? I agree Cal would be great on the Repsol bike, along with lots of others. When Dani decides to retire if Cal is still around maybe he will get his chance. This weekend I hope Dani has recovered further from the

MotoGP » MotoGP finally returning to Indonesia?

Motojunky: Ripper. Can go to Indonesia & Malaysia rounds, cheaper than going to P.I. from Sydney for the week.
Interesting, I go to PI from Tasmania every year and I can guarantee you there is no way you could attend gps in Malaysia and Indnesia cheaper than supporting your home event in Australia. Maybe you get free overseas travel and accomadation? Would be good to see another round in the Asia-pacific region but who would lose their round? I would say a US round.

MotoGP » Dovizioso back on the podium, seeking ‘something’

Codger: GRANNIEJANE Don't worry about being a 'girl', Mrs C and my 3 grown up daughters are 'girls' and they are all a bit special. :) (most of the time, anyway) Yearby23 and PaulW54, thankyou. (And PaulW54, don't worry about being an Aus, it's not your fault !)
You know what they say, there are two kinds of people. There are Aussies and the rest who wish they were Aussies. Been to England a few times and love it, especially London and the south west. Went to Silverstone a few years ago, poured with rain but CS27 did us proud.

MotoGP » Dovizioso back on the podium, seeking ‘something’

cnar77: PaulW54, I believe he was referring to Casey Stoner with respect to the has been, alienate, chip on shoulder comments.
Yes, after re-reading that post I agree. Still do not agree if aimed at CS, found him to be very approachable and accomadating as well. I am an official at PI every year for GP and WSBK so do get to meet most riders at some time. Dovi is a nice bloke as well and is having a great year, who would have predicted he would be in third position in the championship after five rounds with four podiums. A win will come, could be Mugello. Welcome back Codger, you just have to laugh at the nievety of the haters.

MotoGP » Dovizioso back on the podium, seeking ‘something’

lawlesselephant: I hate to say this, but the 'something' Ducati are looking is a pilot with the surname of Stoner. This would be 2007 all over again if he were on it. The best thing they could do is sign Miller.
Wondered how long it would be before THAT name appeared. Surely they don't need a chip on the shoulder 'has been' who's managed to alienate large elements of the motogp world - They'd be better off signing Jonny Rea!!
"has been" Jack is 20 years old! Certainly has not alienated any one who matters in MotoGP, eg Honda. Jack is also very popular with the other riders and teams. Strange how some people can dislike someone so much when they don't know the person. I had the pleasure to meet Jack at PI last year, charming young fella. Actually never met any rider from the three classes who hasn't been approachable and friendly.
