MotoGP » Lorenzo blitzes FP3, Crutchlow and Redding into Q1

VKal: winning and losing is another thing but watching this guy pushing the limits plus doing consistent fast lap from FP1 onwards, the way he rides the M1 with his unique setup for softer braking and maintaining prolonged high corner speed is joy to watch. Something different to watch where the rest of the pack rides a road MC like a motocross MC.
Totally agree, I go to PI every year and nothing is better than watching the smooth precision riding of Jorge. To really appreciate how good these blokes can ride you need to see it live. TV is better than nothing but gives no true reflection of speed and precision.

MotoGP » Hayden: Rossi factor will be something special

Nakasone: He is a former champion, and yet is only racing in the open class. The other guy had not won a championship yet, but had been in the team for ten years now, going on eleven soon. How sad that is. Sorry to be off topic.
That's why I dislike HRC so much. No respect shown to the riders. Rossi could see that early and that's why he left.
He was beaten soundly by Pedrosa and Simoncelli in 2007 and by Pedrosa and Dovi in 2008. Being number 3 at Honda won't get you much help so off he went to Ducati, which was probably the worst thing he could have done. Honda didn't show 'respect' if you call it that, because he hadn't earned it.
Simoncelli was not in MotoGP in 2007!! Nicky is a world champ and great bloke. He deserves much better than the POS he is siding at the moment.

MotoGP » Laverty aiming for top Open spoils

Abefan: He needs a decent bike to allow him to show what he is capable off, as does Hayden etc. the customer Honda is a bit of a mule considering what he is racing against.
Same situation for most of the grid. In normal circumstances only 4 bikes have any chance of winning, the rest just make up the numbers. These blokes are all great riders but will never get the opportunity to show what they are capable of.
