MotoGP » Rossi: It was a difficult day for me

Last few runs in final hours of the session was not at all bad, it was as good as other four in top5... if he had found that good setting much earlier in the night he would have made it look even more better. Struggled for a setting that was not helping him, later found the solution and racked up some fast consistent lap times but not the fastest ones. Afterall he will be a different man on race days...

MotoGP » Doubts over final night of MotoGP testing

Training with their race bikes are surely not good for the sport... they can train with race bikes only in motogp circuits that meets with all safety requirements. Training in vacation will become another testing session worrying about riding techniques, lap times and bike settings. The pressure will be constantly there and hardly any mental relief. Training with dirt bikes still help you gain some skills in little more fun way without worrying about techniques. Important thing is to adapt the skills gained into your mainstream sport. If Rossi Hayden Marc always trained with race bikes in track without any dirt bike they won't be the rider they today are...

MotoGP » Rossi: New Ducati ‘fast’, tyre rule ‘unfair’

stop bitching about over night specials... Rossi got exactly the tyres he wanted, were other riders not allowed to get the tyre they wanted?? It was not control tyres in those, some signed with Michelin and some signed with Bridgestone... ultimate purpose of a rider/team signing deal with tyre maker is to get what they wanted... It is the fault of Rossi if others didn't ask for tyres they liked. It was within rules and you can't blame someone who makes use of opportunity when others didn't... pathetic fans, Now come up with another theory...

MotoGP » Rossi: New Ducati ‘fast’, tyre rule ‘unfair’

Rossi or Marc should not be worried about Ducati's recovery but JL DP should worry about it more. Because JL DP are very strong against VR MM in early few laps due to bad QP(VR) and poor start off the line(MM). still What made the job of VR MM easier last season was, JL DP were not in their best of forms. This year even if JL DP get into their groove they'll have to fend off improving Ducati bikes who unlike VR MM can make very good start to race and mix with JL DP and keep them from vanishing into distance. When VR MM arrive behind after making amendments for early lap mishaps the game will be ON... Now we will have more bikes fighting in the front which the riders of fighting breed will like to have but will not for sure be a cake walk for JL & DP. So even if this situation unlikely to help VR MM it is more likely to go against JL DP...

MotoGP » Incidents mar Michelin MotoGP test

Greavesit:
Guna4699: come on guys it's only the first day with Michelin..probe the limits carefully...
I agree with you, but in my opinion Only a couple of seconds a lap slower is an eternity at this level of racing.
wait mate, they are only gathering data to perfect their tyre construction. they surely aren't going give this exact tyre for Qatar 2016 race... also riders were riding with a Fixed base setup for all types of tyre they tested for accurate comparison. if they tried to set the bike up for tyres, we would not have had these many crashes. 2.02 -2 03sec over a lap is very very slow only if bikes used today were built and setting fine tuned around Michelin tyres for atleast one year... so roughly a second slower than last year's avg race lap time for riders riding it after so many years isn't worth worrying about...

MotoGP » Incidents mar Michelin MotoGP test

come on guys it's only the first day with Michelin.. they are already running only a couple of seconds slower than Bridgestone with which riders have immense experience... Michelin is definitely no Bridgestone for sure, they were off the sport for a while and riders can't expect this do perform like the tyre they have been using yesterday and before... they have their own characteristics and riders need to probe the limits carefully...
