MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez left me with no chance

Just the racing incident but Marc really cut loose into his usual self in last lap and hence the incident, for major part of race Marc was riding a more matured race controlling his natural instincts,, you could rarely see him letting his bike go sideways except in last lap... Rossi really tested Marc's patience and a stage came where Marc can no longer hold...

MotoGP » Rossi: Victory crucial for championship hopes

Best part of the race was actually after the race in parade lap,, Rossi got off the bike and went near fan club stand to celebrate, there he acted like falling down and rolled on grass twice or thrice reminding everybody about he nearly crashed in the last corner incident... That's the Doctor style celebration... it's more flowing and natural to the circumstances unlike the pre planned theatrics of the certain rider who tried to mimic and failed desperately so often which looked very artificial,, Rossi is not just a gifted rider, he is beyond being just that...

MotoGP » Marquez: Today I learned motocross from Rossi

Apart from last corner everything was just fine with Marc,, He needs to man up to accept defeat gracefully, afterall it was an intensely fought battle,, controlling his natural instincts Marc looked a different man today, I was starting to have more respect on him but he blew away everything in one corner and the following press conference... In an pure Yamaha circuit, Marc would have won surely if there was someone else except Rossi, given his recent struggles this really is a great recovery,, Rossi would not have stood a chance against Marc had he qualified in 3rd row asusual...

MotoGP » MotoGP Race Director talks Rossi, Marquez incident

One of the toughest fought battles,, this kind of finish is inevitable,, Good that Marc had the spirits to not give up until the end, that spirit made this race more memorable... Even more Marc never let his bike go sideways except for the last lap, this goes on to show how much Marc contained his natural instincts... In the last lap he looked like his usual self over the limit going out all cylinders firing, it was impressive how he dissolved 0.4s Rossi had at the start of lap,, when Marc decided to cut loose out came his stupid attempt... Despite all these controlling instincts and letting lose Marc can't complete a safe pass,, bottom line is Rossi won it fair and square in a proper head to head...

MotoGP » Lorenzo: We saved a difficult situation

Lorenzo started to fly high just when Motogp touched down in Europe, Now he got grounded by his teammate,, he inched ever so closely behind in terms of points and Doctor responded in crunching time in crunching fashion... Surely didn't expected him to be 14s down,, when he is up he steam rolls the grid, when he is down he is out of it completely... Rossi has turned even worse weekends into decent looking ones in race day,,

MotoGP » Rossi signs off ‘incredible weekend’ with Goodwood visit

Interesting facts about Rossi-His M1-Assen trio... #Rossi has either won or suffered incidents to finish outside podium in Assen ever since he started to race with Yamaha in 2004, he never in 2nd or 3rd. #This win or incident pattern has been going on for a full decade in alternative years starting from 2005, #He has won all odd number years in Assen, 05,07,09,13,15... #He suffered incidents in all even numbered years 06(Heavy Fp1 crash, raced with injury from back of grid to finish 8th),08(first lap crash, finished 11),14(pit lane start while gambling against weather, finished 5th), In the year 2010 he didn't participate due to mugello incident. 2004 is his only win in Assen in even numbered year with Yamaha. But always finished in points with Yamaha... contd..

MotoGP » Rossi: Victory crucial for championship hopes

Forget last corner, both deserves this win equally,, On one hand Rossi at 36 against a decade younger warrior who was in a red hot resurgent form, to add to this Marc looked more matured for most part of race without making a mistake, Rossi also had the pressure of responding to Lorenzo's form and it was crunch time. On the other hand Marc in the back drop recent struggles which spoiled his title defence was against the master tactician at the peak of his poweress in his territory. Now we call this a clash of the titans... Lorenzo and rain god were destined to stay away for a reason... incredible battle this one...

MotoGP » Rossi resists Marquez in tense Dutch TT

Rossi cut the corner- cry louder... Rossi cheated- cry even louder... The moment when a contact happened it became an incident, Now cutting the corner was due to an incident but not an deliberate attempt. Who was responsible for the contact?? It was an racing incident... This case is closed until or unless you find either of the two guilty for making contact...
