MotoGP » Pedrosa lauds 'best battle' of career

Very rarely we see VR getting out smarted in a straight shoot out in closing laps, Vale was not lacking pace in the battle but Dani was clever and prepared, May be VR didn't want to risk beyond a point. We clearly saw valentino sat up a couple of times even before Dani's front wheel was barely close to middle of VR's bike,, Rossi would not have sat up if not for championship position, Dani would not have dived back so aggressively if he was in contention... VR had more at stake, along with skills this also plays a part if the battle gets this tough... Little hero played it perfectly...

MotoGP » Rossi: I played all my cards - and more

JL fan's logic when... VR wins- lucky, heat resistant tyres, rain, MM crash. JL loses- look properly, he was true, helmet really had problems. It fogged up because it rained. JL wins- metronomic consistency, Lorenzo's land. VR loses- that's the maximum he can do, he got owned completely. Do you guys still believe you are properly unbiased & think with proper logic without disrespecting VR??

MotoGP » Rossi: I played all my cards - and more

Dani rode a great clever race, taking nothing away from him but still it's undeniable that he had advantage in the back straight... you may say Rossi had advantage in few corners and braking points,, think with common sense, which advantage is easy to exploit?? there is relatively higher risk involved in exploiting corner speed advantage while nothing like that in straight line, tuck your body and open the throttle... when two riders A&B do identical lap times,, A having advantage in top speed while B have advantage in corner speed, I'll close my eyes and say B did more credible job. Given the championship situation, weight and speed disadvantage, it would give VR more credit for risking so much despite losing it...

MotoGP » Rossi: I played all my cards - and more

When VR says he gave his everything, I read that as " I gave my everything within the constraints of championship situation" I am saying this because #1 running slightly wide #2 trying to close the door #3 preparing to sit up if needed are 3 different things. I have seen VR doing the #1 & #2 often, but never the #3,, he rarely does this, Dani knew why, so he pounced on the chance, so came the less frequent aggression from DP, so came the less frequent duel failure for VR... saving 4 more points is crucial but not at the cost of risk losing 16 more... Nothing against DP who made the chance count,, but just trying defend from who say Vale got owned and out ridden completely...

MotoGP » Crutchlow ‘pleased to get out of Aragon’ with seventh

I'll blame Honda/Repsol more than cal/his bike for his poor results... They keep saying it's a almost close to full factory kit and make riders to say the same in media. Words of Nakamoto claiming open Honda to be slower by just 0.3s than factory bike in Motegi is still fresh in memories... To me every other Honda in grid except the Repsol Hondas are mere grid fillers or testing mules... atleast that's how they treat. Cal did better job with Tech 3,, Since 2009 top satellite has has always been an Yamaha except super sic in 2011. Colin Edwards, Ben Speis, Dovi, cal, pol and Smith this year,,

MotoGP » Iannone shrugs off injured shoulder for fighting fourth

with common electronics next season using more Ducati based software, how many think Iannone will be a force to reckon with in initial races... With more experience on factory bike, with shoulders fixed for good, with his feedbacks getting received better than earlier for development after this year's results... I hope so,, expect yet another rider with fighting instincts be near front next year..

MotoGP » Rossi, Lorenzo ready for title showdown

Who ever wins will deserve that completely no matter what kind of theories or explanations come from opposite camp fans... I wish the title be decided one race prior in Malaysia... Because... What kind of cruel fate that could be,, In Valencia both sides of garage planning for celebrations bringing special helmets, T-shirts and other themes hidden inside secretly until the title is decided,, sadly only one side of garage can bring all those out in public, while on the other side those will be completely locked inside with all celebratory plans buried. Now this is an unbaised wishing...
