MotoGP » Read, Gardner discuss Rossi, Marquez clash

what race was grandpa watching, Lorenzo had left Rossi for dead way before Rossi got in the fight with Marquez?? @Garcia... Don't try to sound smart, How many times you ever saw VR going neck to neck with JL MM in initial 2 laps? VR getting dropped in early laps not happened just in Sepang but in almost every race in last 2 two years barring a few... The time around which VR's lap times would generally start to peak was the time at which Marc started to play dirty. The situation is MM managed to perfectly exploit VR's early lap weakness,, still that fight from MM would be 100% acceptable if he was really fighting for his own benefits. The thing is, MM's right to fight was never questioned but the intention behind the fight was questioned...

MotoGP » Lorenzo using past triumphs to fuel title defence

yes everybody are heroes risking lives to this sport we enjoy.. Here is one rider who has the habit of regularly disrespecting other riders by self proclaiming, whaw nobody every done that, I am the only one to do that, I was the fastest, you know I am now 5 Times, sponsors buzzing by my front door blah blah... His fans actually accept this trait from him but it's actually the same people who call for fans to respect all riders. They say he has the right to crow as much as he can because he earned it,, If you guys really mean that, then same applies to Rossi, he earned the celeb status and has every right to exploit that to his advantage. If Lorenzo can go on and keep disrespecting others, why should I have any concern for his respect? After all he is the only one rider to constantly do this non sense in name of being straight forward.

MotoGP » Read, Gardner discuss Rossi, Marquez clash

Garcia: Do you seriously believe Rossi was going to catch Lorenzo in Sepang?? Even after Marquez crashed Rossi only fell further and further away behind him...
JL was pulling away when VR was fighting with MM, Incident happened in much much slower speed in turn 14, JL did his usual speed there, so the gap went from "a tough chase" to "an almost impossible", he can't chase down the gap + there was no one threatening from behind so you know how Rossi would approach the situation. Rossi after the clash just rode to retain his 3rd. unlike JL, VR won't usually go flat out all the time...

MotoGP » Movistar Yamaha MotoGP launch - As it happened

With new increased wheel dia, the bike gained agility but lost a little stability... Rossi with time they'll fix things but not as good as it was in previous seasons... It's the Yamaha that depends on stability a little more than others for higher corner speed... I fear the odds have been stacked up against Yamaha as of now... they are already the one with least amount of test track time with big regulation changes coming into effect. Waiting to witness Yamaha overhaul the big challenges in front of them...

MotoGP » Bridgestone era ends with ten more lap records

@ AyrtonSenna Ducati having got front end issues managed to mask that trouble by using the tyre brand that offers better front end feel. So this reduces Ducati's front end disadvantage in corners against bikes with good front end but with inferior front tyre. This actually takes some credits away from the records of CS in 2007. Because in the game of gaining time in corners CS used a tyre that best suits the job to go with an engine that smoked even the Michelin shod bikes in straight ,, it is a technical help in both straights and corners. When others clawed back that advantage by getting access to what CS had we knew what happened in 2008,09. Don't always search around to give extra credits than what he deserves, explain your point on how his records became suddenly more special.

MotoGP » Marquez is MotoGP’s ‘volcano’

1) Did MM really taint JL's victory or only because VR says so? No champion ever had the necessity to be on repeat mode "I was the fastest, I won the most, I lead the most laps" doesn't this tell you anything? I just pretend like you don't care. 2) He was the fastest ride in 2015 with the most wins, had some issues with helmets and such at the start. As we always say with Stoner, just being the fastest isn't enough. By your logic, JL lead most laps in Indy, why do they call Marc the winner? stop giving non-sense. 3) How can u be so sure that MM intentionally didnt pass him? because VR says so? How can you be very sure that he was riding to his maximum? because he said so?

MotoGP » Bridgestone era ends with ten more lap records

There is a big connection between the start of new 800cc era and why riders chose to jump out of Michelin. with reduced engine capacity, lap times were expected to be slower due to lesser top speed, but teams started to try and compensate for time lost in straight line from corners and almost everybody were running their personal best with reduced engine power. clearly gaining time in corners was the game of the era, you need better front to exploit that, that is what BS had with them "better front",, no matter How good of a rear M brought, it cannot be utilised due to engine power limitation. Even today DNA of BS is better front and DNA of M is better rear, 800cc era demanded better front for exploiting corners, BS survived and riders ditched M. Nothing to do with VR's influence and celeb status. understandably haters have been suffering from butthurt since very long...
