OnceWaz: I don't disagree that MM was hindering Rossi but if he was it was in exactly the same manner in which Rossi hindered Stoner at Laguna Seca. Did Rossi get penalised then? That would be a 'NO'. I rest my case your honour.
They will somehow justify his past antics, as if he's never done it.
Another on of fly. LoL.
Just like Motegi 2010. Oh wait, Jorge had it in the bag so this is ok! Unwritten rule this, nwritten Rule that. When it comes to Rossi, there are specifics to the unwritten rule.
At Laguna Seca like I said, Valentino and Stoner were 1st and 2nd place in the championship standings and were racing for the win, okay. So it's different. What's wrong about Motegi? There were 5 races to go, and Lorenzo's points were way above the 2nd contender, Dani -131 points. Whats exactly your point? Me no get.
If Valen

MotoGP » Lorenzo 'the best' in MotoGP, says Rossi

Codger, in amongst your rivetting conversations about cookies and tea bags I was able to find a question you asked of me. I referred you to TwistedWrists subsequent post suggesting the need for Yamaha to now make a markedly different bike for Rossi when they both rode the same bikes back when Rossi was no.1 in the team. As a rookie, Jorge was close to Vale from the off even though he had little input into developing the M1, so anyone with a tin eye could see what was to come for the Italian. To suggest a motorcycle with such a range of adjustment as a factory GP bike is 'lacking' and after only 2 years of relatively minor evolution is now unsuitable for the Italian is laughable and actually quite sad. Those are just some of the things you have failed to consider when making excuses for Rossi. So now you will see I'd actually already answered your question several pages ago and thus the confusion. I chose to ignore your tyre pressures question... for obvious reasons.

Well TalentFan, the thread WAS going alright until you got off your high horse and as usual you stick a few into honda on the way down. Again you fail to see a Yamaha was a handful of points off the title, again you fail to see a Yamaha won the most races and again you allude to the honda fest that exists only in your mind. I know you're far from the biggest Rossi fan here but others wouldn't know it from reading your best impersonation of one. Honda looks a lot better because of Rossi this year, if you don't believe it, then your probably a bigger fan of his than you think. Cheers mate.

A Honda fest? Oh no, it's TalentFan on the Hate-a-Honda campaign again! I'll tell yer what TF, you'd better hope it's not Bradley Smiff up Rossi's chuff every other weekend because if it's all Honda's fault, a fairly uninspiring young pom who 90% of motoGP critics (and fans) said didn't deserve this years ride certainly has no place being that close to 'the master'.

Codger, I'm sure you understand why he gets so much stick, accepting it is your bridge too far. I know you've been posting here for as long as I have and I never fail to wonder how you won't see the forest for the trees. Fear not, he's out there amongst the plume of two-stroke smoke haze, felling timber at a rate that will have you a believer before he hangs up his leathers half way through next season.
