MotoGP » Smith tips ‘two or three’ top riders to sign by Qatar

Dani might jump ship to KTM That will never happen. Dani has been a Repsol Honda guy since he started in 125's. He has been enourmously successful for Honda. World champion in both 125's and 250's and is third on the most podiums list behind Ago and Rossi. As one of the top four riders in the world he is very valuable to Honda. He'll retire a Honda man.

MotoGP » MotoGP makes changes to Race Direction

Lets be honest guys, if anyone else other than Rossi had pulled that slow down stunt on Marquez then race direction would have black flagged the rider. Rossi had his italian buddy Caparossi up in the race direction box calling the decisions. Rossi got away with it because of who he is and his position in the championship. Dorna's big mistake was dishing out the penalty after the race. This hasn't sat well with the Rossi fans. Dorna have realized this and now want to distance themselves from this in the future. This is a good move, but they also need to replace Caparossi as the rider rep in Race Direction with someone who isn't Italian or Spanish or Japanese. How about Mika Kallio?

MotoGP » Rossi: I think Stoner wants to race

Look for Casey as a wild card May 22nd Retired Riders Returning to Competition 5.11.1 A Rider in FIM’s Registered Testing Pool who has given notice of retirement to FIM may not resume competing in International Events or National Events until he/she has given FIM written notice of his/her intent to resume competing and has made him/herself available for Testing for a period of six months before returning to Competition, including (if requested) complying with the whereabouts requirements of Annex I to the International Standard for Testing and Investigations. WADA, in consultation with FIM and the Rider's National Anti-Doping Organization, may grant an exemption to the six-month written notice rule where the strict application of that rule would be manifestly unfair to a Rider. This decision may be appealed under Article 13. Any competitive results obtained in violation of this Article 5.7.1 shall be Disqualified.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: ‘Dream’ test, but ‘competition doesn’t sleep’

What's to be negative about? I'm not particularly a fan of Jorge but you have to admire this guys impeccable race craft and sheer determination to win. Jorge really is at the top of his game and the recognition is well deserved. Right now we have the strongest field of really top level racers possibly in the entire history of moto gp. Marquez, Rossi, Pedrosa, and now Stoners added to the mix. It doesn't get any better.
