F1 » F1 risks ‘arms race’ if Ferrari-Haas co-op stands - Mercedes

"F1 risks arms race" Really Merc? As if we don't have one now since your ahead of the competition and veto every decision that would help F1 be more exciting, you're worried that a tech alliance is going to bring the sport into disrepute? I hope they'll have some real competition next year, they've become arrogant and whiny over the last 2 seasons. Need a kick up the backside again.

MotoGP » Nicky Hayden made a MotoGP Legend

Deano B: So given your criteria for 'Legend staus' that means Colin Edwards should of been given the same when he retired.
Edwards could've been a world champ in 500cc if that idiot Frenchman didn't punt him off in Monza 1998. Colin's whole MotoGP career was developing bikes/teams (Aprilia, Tech 3, Forward) and backing up his teammate's title tilts (Gibernau, Rossi). If we're going to criticise how Hayden only has 1 title and shouldn't be a legend, why has no one criticised Kato and Simoncelli being there? Where are comments that they're only there because of circumstances like Hayden? To me, if you win a MotoGP title and you obviously had the talent to win a MotoGP title (across all classes, even 125 and 250), you are a legend. You had the skill, the courage and the package to win a championship. That makes you a legend. Simple. And Hayden did it in a straight fight with Rossi. Says it all really.

MotoGP » Rossi: Shame to see Bridgestone go

Ammar: honestly...next year with the single electronics, tires and rules (engines and all), it would have been a really awesome chance for a level playing field (with bridgetsones) seeing how mitchellins seem to be causing unexpected crashes, there is a chance that next years title may depend largely on luck..Yamaha seems to be the most stable bike and even their riders crashed so many times during testing..and thats still testing..think how someone like Marc will fare when pushing to the max.... and I am still not considering f*ck ups which happen due to lack of data about the track..like a Philip Island like scenario where Mitch may bring in a wrong tire compund real shame...
Hasn't Edwards been to Aus twice this year for testing? I guess they're ahead of Bridgestone in that aspect in looking at PI's new surface and what have you. Next year will definitely be a huge shake up.
