F1 » Rosberg v Hamilton: Have your say

It was a racing incident. I find it funny though how most are criticising Rosberg for not backing off yet we praise Senna and Schumacher for doing the same thing and say that it was a part of their driving style. Nico isn't that same fresh face we saw get the fastest lap in his first race then struggle for 4 years in a poor car while Lewis was winning races and titles for McLaren. He's grown, he's a race winner now and he's going for a championship. And like Sebastian Vettel said, championships don't come often. Lewis has had around 3-4 title shots, while this is Nico's first chance. He has a lot more to lose than Hamilton, so I doubt he would try to throw that all away just to give Lewis a puncture. It's nonsense at best, laughable at worst.

F1 » Hamilton ‘will always put the team first’

Wow, someone was offered more money to go to a team that could offer him a better chance of being successful...yeah I can see why he would be the only person ever in history to ever take that opportunity. No matter what profession you are in this happens, welcome to the real world my friend.
Really? At the time, I would believe you thought he was mad, going from a team which had 13 podiums between both Lewis and Jenson to a team where Nico and Michael only scored 3. Did that move end up being better than expected considering McLaren now? Yes. Did he HAVE to leave? No. Don't expect that every F1 driver leaves because of money. Sure, it helps, but most drivers leave to a more dominate team. Mercedes only offered more money. There was never any indication that their 2013 car was going to be b

F1 » Hamilton ‘will always put the team first’

superdowg316: First: YAY! TAIPAN'S BACK! Second: "I will always put the team first." Explain that to McLaren Lewis, who after getting you to where you are now, you turned your back on them for more money. Sure are putting the team first, eh?
Whether it was for financial reasons or not it would appear that from a racing perspective moving from Mclaren was the right decision so that argument doesn't really stack up does it?
*facepalm* It's not about whether the move was good or not, it's the fact that he said he puts the team first yet left the team that basically brought him up due to money.

F1 » Ricciardo wins after Mercedes pair clash

I love how the Hamilton fans on Facebook were like 'lolz Rosberg got Karma with the tyre lol' when he ended up with 2nd and Lewis retired. You don't talk smack when the person you're talking smack about is miles ahead of your driver. But as a Nico fan, even I know that move was quite boneheaded. I'm sure it was just a racing incident, but what happens now going into Monza? Is this race the defining moment of the season? I'm pretty certain Hamilton isn't going to play nice with Nico anymore.
