WSBK » Haslam: Laguna Seca will suit Aprilia

I hope it suits Aprilia and Ducati to finally give Kawi some competiton. But that said the way the Kawi boys are riding and how good those bikes are I'm not going to hold my breath as we'll likely see the same type of results in this race. It would be nice to see another mark on the top rostrum spot but we may need to wait for the new R1 next season to see that. Hope not though.

MotoGP » Rossi: Title charge is on

Bridgestone should not have made 2014 tires for anyone and said tough were using the compounds we've developed for 2015 for everyone. If we see a problem that affects all or most riders and teams from the type of tires we provide at each race then we'll develop improvements to the current set of 2015 tires and bring them to future venues. Otherwise they should go to every team for their preferred type of tire and make it for them which is against the idea of spec tire for all. Conspiracy maybe not but if the tire they brought only helped one team then you have to call it what it is.

MotoGP » MotoGP software freeze underway

Prof I agree that TC does take out some of the skill of riding. On the flip side you can see as the ECU/TC/etc... was developed through the years that riders esp. new riders coming up who adapted and became dependent on these electronic nannies have exploited the technology. Don't know what planet the haters are from but Rossi did at some point note he would like to see less of these electronic nannies but he realized if he wanted to compete with new riders that were adept at exploiting this technology he needed to understand how to utilize it as well to allow him to compete. If the nannies were turned off, which they won't be, the top riders may change a little. Rossi would be up there without any doubt. Others that depend heavily on electronic aids may have trouble until they adapted. Some would and some wouldn't. Also the comment that if they turned off the electronics that Motogp would turn out like F1 is just ridiculous. I think that it would make it better not worse, but like

cont'd - ...but like I said before electronics aren't going away because the manufacturers want to keep developing it for it's street products. Even with the limitations of a stock ECU I believe they'll continue to work with the manufacturers to develop it. The only difference is that it will be shared by all the teams not just the top or richest teams.

That's just ridiculous, Yamaha made chassis changes as both riders probably asked for certain changes to help them with feel, reaction to suspension or tires. I'm sure they gave both riders the option to keep the old chassis or new chassis. Rossi liked the new chassis so he kept it and my guess it helps Jlo as well because I have not heard he didn't like it or kept the old chassis or asked for last years chassis and tires (or was that another Spanish rider).
