MotoGP » Official: Jack Miller to MotoGP with Honda

2 things: 1- I don't think this was a good move for Miller, he should have gone to Moto2 for at least one year like both Marquez and Rossi said he should but then again, the offer is on the table NOW and he's not guaranteed the that in the future. So I guess it was a case of 'bite more than you can chew and chew really fast" or risk starvation. 2- If this is a political move, I don't get it. Ratings in Australia are RIDICULOUSLY low. Seriously, they've even dropped Moto2/Moto3 from free to air and only show the MotoGP race (no FPs, no quallys, nothing!) and even that is full of ad breaks. And it's not like they were amazing when Stoner was winning either. On top of that, Australia has a population of 20Mi ppl, it's not like there's a potential for a significant audience or great bike sales. If anything, they should have an Indian/Chinese/Russian rider, hell at least a JAPANESE rider! If anyone can make sense of the 'political move' behind hiring an Aussie, I'm all ears

MotoGP » Victorious Valentino Rossi 'at the best of my career'

Whoever feels like replying to Evolution, well... don't. The dude must be like 11yo and obviously knows nothing about the sport. To say that "Marquez is nothing. It's Repsol's bike winning everything" is not only extremely disrespectful to one of the best riders to ever grace this sport but also incredibly dumb... It's even disrespectful to Rossi's talent. MM has won just about every race this year FFS! You take him out of the equation and what do you have? Pedrosa leading the championship from Rossi by one point! If that doesn't prove he makes the difference, nothing else will.

MotoGP » MotoGP weight changes, software freeze

Rider weight doesn't play such a big role in the overall performance of powerful bikes (moto2 and especially Moto3 are a different story). Of course you want to be as light as possible due to power/weight ratio and etc. But a taller (aka heavier) rider has the ability to shift his/her weight more efficiently compared to a small rider. This translates to better side to side transition and even better braking in some instances. Yes, the heavier rider should be harder to stop but if the weight is shifted to the rear it also means it's less likely to lift the back wheel. So yeah... talent is still what matters the most. If rider weight was everything, Pedrosa would have won lots of titles and Toni Elias wouldn't be trying his luck at WSBK.

F1 » Williams: Line-up can win titles

The big question mark for next year is Honda. And the reason I say that is because Mercedes will obviously upgrade its current engine and chances are it will still be the best. Renault seems to have a lot of ground to cover both in performance and reliability so I'd say 2016 will probably not be their year... especially since it's not like they can start fresh with a whole new engine design. Ferrari can do it but their car this year seems to be struggling with a lot more issues than just the engine so they may have too much on their plates at the moment. This leaves Honda, who's been sitting on the sideline and observing, as the one manufacturer that can bring a surprise effect... Of course it's not all engines but teams that are doing well this year in terms of aerodynamics and car balance won't all of sudden forget everything they've done. So I'd be putting my money on Mercedes powered cars winning again next year with a side bet on Honda.

MotoGP » Lorenzo takes first pole of 2014, Rossi front row

I will never say 'it can't be done' when it comes to Marquez but starting from 4th, if he gets another bad start, well... let's say it would require the race of lifetime to recover for another win given the pace shown by the Yamaha this time around. If anyone can do it, MM can do it. I will be cheering Rossi though... about time he won another one and Misano is his home soil.

F1 » Boullier: Magnussen ‘punching above his weight’

Mustafur: for a Rookie to consistently out race Button, the same Button who was very Equal with Hamilton as team mates is something quite special. He isn't the fully polished product yet(hence the penalties) but this guy is a future star in the making once he is.
He has half Button's points. I'd say Button was wiping the floor with him. Racing happens on Sundays remember ...
You know what else happens on Sundays? Ridiculous penalties get handed for drivers who dare to race.

MotoGP » Marquez has first shot at Doohan record

Evolution: definetely he is going to break that record but the question is will he break that record without repsol? or if he is riding yamaha then also he'll break this record? yaa for sure plenty of people going to disagree me but this is my personal question. No doubt he is talented. nothing against MM:)
I can't disagree with that. Then again, I can't agree with it either... 'cause I didn't even understand what you were trying to say! hahaha I sense the reference to riding Yamaha has something to do with Vale but that is as far as I got.
