F1 » First Ferrari win ‘means a little bit extra’ for Vettel

The situation is simple, Mercedes still destroys its tires in hot weather, they probably could have been 15% much faster in cooler weather. China has a much cooler weather, we should see a bigger gap to Ferrari. having said that, i am glad Ferrari is back...and Mercedes will not have the spoiled choice they had last year resulting to internal politics...we should see clear lead, natural driver emergence. Ferrari also went for a lesser downforce to maximise on the massive straights, whilst Mercedes probably expected a wet race and setup their car accordingly, it also explains as to why they decided to use their softer tire in Q1. lastly i feel that Ferrari had it easy in the final stint courtesy of Merc putting the harder tire on Lewis's car. Nico who was on used medium tire was doing 1.1 sec plus on Lewis and about 1.2 sec on Seb a lap. with about 18 laps to go and 16 sec gap...in a later afternoon, cooler temperature...was Lewis going to catch Seb....?? Absolutely yes! in conclu

F1 » Hamilton: Ferrari too fast for us today

F1 » Issues ‘very difficult to swallow’ - Hamilton

its amazing that a team will bet a lesser capable drive and try to oppress the best driver they have in the team and perhaps in F1 right now. for the past two races, Lewis are made up 50 PLACES! 50????? regardless of the amazing pace of the car, 50 places is outstanding! during the last race, princess Rose was stuck behind Vergne for around 10 laps or so and decided to pit...and it took Lewis ONE lap to dispose of Vergne. Love him or hate him, Lewis is outstanding...and he is only going to get better with what he is going through, how do you focus when you know that your own time is trying to hurt you? they past two incidents in quali have been of a deadly nature...and to be honest Merc will not have this easy opportunity to win the championship next year, Brawn took the whole of last year to develop this car. they got rid of him, they now have Paddy i dont see him doing much, without Newey. never-mind the rest of the field is already catching up. its a sad story so far, but i know

F1 » McLaren aims to benefit from upgrades

So glad not to be a Mclaren support any longer, my heart can rest in peace...they are a confused team, and over the years they have lost the plot in design evolution, had they focused on year on year development based on the same design idea, they could be doing well...its hard for engineers to feel challenged when they have average drivers... they have lost Lowe and Hamilton...i hope Ron Dennis's arrogance isn't paying off now is it. hamilton could ride the car to its bits. i hope they realise the value he brought to the team. losers
