F1 » Verstappen vigour goes unrewarded in Shanghai

nymad: I would be very surprised if he is still in a Toro Rosso next year, actually. I hope that Renault engine gets a bit more reliable as he seems to be the only one providing much excitement at the moment. Not since Kimi in 2001 has anyone debuted as well, to be quite honest.
Really, how did Hamilton do in his debut? I have nothing against this kid but, people keep trying to anoint him before he's done anything.
Really? You bring up Lulu? I mean the man is a phenominal racer, but the only reason he shined in his debut season was because of the thousands upon thousands of miles he did in testing with the best car on the grid before he even started a Grand Prix. Vettel's 2007 debut season wasn't the greatest, in terms of results, either. I made the comparison to Kimi because they both had very little open wheel experience, either in testing or racing, before entering F1.

F1 » Vettel leaves Red Bull F1 team

MaddMe: Nothing declared just yet, it still could be JEV... I had suspicions earlier in the year about this and still consider Merc to be his destination, replacing Lulu... Not really a surprise, considering the dog of a year he has had...
Yea, I think you are on the money with Merc. Hamilton back to McLaren with Alonso. Biancci to Ferrari

F1 » Alonso close to Ferrari exit

Magnussen's seat is safe at Mclaren... They would be crazy to discard him over Button - It's time for the era's most unwitting and smug world champion to sign off gracefully. Plus, I would say that Honda are only pushing for Alonso - not two veteran drivers. To be quite honest, I don't think Biancci to Ferrari is a crazy idea. Otherwise he is stuck with Marussia for at least another year.

F1 » Spurned Vergne ‘working for 2015’

I actually don't feel for him. People may believe he outperformed DR last year, but the plain truth is that they were essentially on the same level in terms of Sunday results. If you take into account the Saturday performances and race craft that DR exhibited, there was no competition - DR won hands down. JEV - A good driver, yes. But also a completely boring, one dimensional driver with no backing. Deservedly, for him, it's closed wheeled cars from now on.

F1 » Bianchi not expecting Ferrari call-up

I think he will still be with Marussia next year, if a Ferrari seat doesn't open up (which it won't). He is too valuable to Marussia for them to let him go. Plus, it is probably not in his best interests to potentially flounder in a new team for a gap season. I would dare say Ferrari will name him as Kimi's replacement for 2016.
