F1 » EXCLUSIVE: Jenson Button Q&A - Pt.1

I think he may get one more year with Mclaren as they may find it difficult to attract anyone of the other major drivers due to current performance and next's year Honda performance uncertainty. I've alawys liked Button, hes not the fasted but probably the most intelligent driver on the track. He's also consistent like Alonso. Hes 3 years with Hamilton as a team mate showed the strengths and weaknesses of both drivers. Button eventually come out on top in points terms which is important to the team, but hamilton had more races wins which looks good. I consider him on par with the likes of hamilton, alonso, kimi and Seb all of which have their strengths and weaknesses. I do however think a move to Ferrari is in the future, just a hunch.

F1 » Button: Bad spell good for McLaren

richard: rasclatt. unfortunately ron has not been able to find any driver with talents anywhere near sennas. wake me up when he does!
For all those suffering with dementia may i recall Aus 2007, I think I saw a debut driver pass the then reigning on his first outing in F1. As I have said this crop of champions are the best I have seen with my order being Alonso - the best alI-rounder Hamilton- the rawest talent Button- the most smoothest Kimi - the nuttiest . As you can see a name has been left out due to a young Australian highlighting what many has known regards dominant Red Bull cars and rubbish teammates who are rated because they are nice and not on talent.
A good summary of the top drivers. I however would include Seb for his achievements. All drivers have a bad year and I believe his motivation has gone due to 1 or 2 life changing events as some times happens to top sportsman/women. These are: T

F1 » Button: Tough season will help McLaren

At the start of the season Mclaren said they had a problem with the wind tunnel (like Ferriar LY) which made some of the components illegal and were unable to race with them. Jenson, apparently had a 1 year exstension and I'm under the belief that Alonso will replace him for 2015, however the Honda question brings up the point that Jenson is very popular in Japan so will he stay on? If you look back at 2008 a similiar troubled honda team was in trouble, Brawn joined and they started working on the 2009 car ealier than everyone else which gave them a 10 race advantage until the rest gained ground. This year and next could go a similiar way as Brawn could be there. I hope that Button gets the car he needs next year and although he is not a 1 lap speciallist he has excellent race craft on par with Alonso that has enable him to deliver some outstanding results. If he had Lewis's 1 lap pace then he would be the perfect driver.
