F1 » Maldonado penalised for Gutierrez clash

Mark....like so many on here have said, the punishment doesnt fit the crime, thats the main point....not how much you love Pastor over Esteban.... Maldanado continues to prove he should not be driving in F1 as he keeps having accidents. He hit Gutierrez hard enough to punch a whole in the body, and flip the car front wheel to rear wheel. How the driver in front is supposed to guess where to place his car when assaulted from behind is some very clever driving..... EDIT by CRASH.NET! Trolling comment removed.

F1 » Rosberg’s pride at silencing ‘very unfair’ critics

the removal of diffuser lead grip has closed up the field in terms of corner speed at entry and exit.....and in doing so allows one driver to force another off line, and with the power delivery then fight off the corners much more the pre 2014.........the field is quite close on paper, excluding Merc who are 2 seconds clear in real terms. I thought we saw a good race on Sunday in general, albeit slightly contrived at the end because of Maldonados rock ape move......It will be interesting to see come Monaco how close the field is, and whether passing is possible there at all...

F1 » Horner lauds ‘top drawer’ Ricciardo after run to fourth

Daniel is making Vettel look very average so fat to the point that he is making excuses. Redbull obviously have sold enough in Europe now, and want to move the marketing exercise, so they are allowing their second driver full speed for now which is great. The lack of rear diffuser is stuffing Vettels driving ability, and Dan is mega on the brakes.....this is how it was with Webber until the Double Diffuser took off, so electronics and throttle/brake overlap are now not working.... Vettel has his work cut out this year. keep up the good work Dan

Mark....its nothing to do with liking a driver, just the way the rules are inconsistent with the crime. Its good that we can have a safer sport, but not have rules that dont make sense. Maldanado is out of control when these incidents occur, and he needs to be spoken too about this. Plus his comment after the event are irrelevant. Ricciardos penalty was a team mistake...not a drive rmistake. I would have said penalise the team financially, but not the driver who was not at fault. I'd like to think this post will stay up Crash.....my comments are at least honest....unlike it would appear other posters on here....this is not aimed at you Mark..

@rich...please share with us, as I have asked before which Formulas of racing you have taken part in and what years your success and safe driving came together, without the aid of anything safe? Also, do you wear the obligatory Leather Gloves to give you that extra control at the wheel of your Bentley? As to more important and relevance to this thread, if Guiteirrez had gone straight past the corner and turned in across the exit kerb, he would still have had the Lotus in his side, as Maldanado missed his braking point by three car lengths, and would have understeered off past the apex.....as it was he used the Sauber as a reference point of where to exit the corner. Guiteirrez could have hurt remember that when you decided to defend the nutter in the lotus. Ricciardo as I stated before did nothing himself to justify his penalty...ask Martin Brundle, if you didnt hear his comment.....whereas Nutter Pastor was the main reason the accident happened, even if you think mirror signal man

Rich....I applaud your driving ability on the road, but in racing terms if you never had an accident probably relates to you not trying hard enough..... As to being on a motorway, I will be aware that you are likely to move across the entire three lanes to give the errant driver coming onto the motorway sufficient lane space. By the way, which motorway do you use to brake from 200mph to 40 mph for an approaching bend, as it sounds a real challenge for any proper driver, like your good self.....
