F1 » Gutierrez ‘learning’ from Vettel, Raikkonen

I'm sure that's all true and good luck to him. But, in some ways this is the perfect example of how public relations, media training and toeing the corporate line is sapping all the life out of F1 and the drivers. I mean, can you imagine anyone in Esteban's position ever saying anything to the contrary? Does he even believe it or was he just reading from a script churned out by some PR robot? Anything remotely critical, controversial or let's face it, interesting would be career suicide no matter how skilled a driver he might be. Oh never mind, just got withdrawal symptoms over this endless summer break.

F1 » Button and wife gassed during burglary in France

Pi55ed not ga55ed...? A French police source suggesting that the couple had not needed to be rendered unconscious as they appeared to be suffering from hangovers. “They were obviously the worse for wear that morning and they may have been embarrassed because they didn’t wake up,” the source said. “People come here to party and there’s lots of drinking. In this case, it seems likely that they had been drinking the night before. The stories of people being gassed are a myth.”

F1 » Drivers cautiously in favour of refuelling return?

If they must reintroduce it then just make sure the fuel is formulated so we can see the flames. I'd rather leave the 100kg limit but remove the fuel flow restriction so it's the drivers call how he uses his fuel. At least we might get to hear the current engines actually running at 15000 rpm rather than short shifting at 12 or 13k as at present. If that doesn't spice things up then think about allowing refuelling.
