F1 » Vettel to get new Ferrari engine, lands grid penalty

Its not only the WDC title they've made easier for Lewis its 3rd position in the all time winners' league as well as the possibility of Lewis equalling Sebastian's 13 wins in a season record, Sebastian's second place in WDC Is now more vulnerable as well. What were Ferrari thinking? Let's hope this upgrade is sufficiently fantastic to compensate for all the above. Vettel will have to come through the field from at LEAST 11th on the grid. I wonder how reliable the Mercs will be in this race? I am STUNNED, absolutely stunned by this decision.

F1 » Red Bull pushing for ‘first-class’ engine in critical talks

The problem with putting someone in a position where they can't refuse is that they are perfectly within their rights to refuse. Why would Ferrari run the risk of a) being beaten by Red Bull or b) being slagged off as a crap engine manufacturer if they're not beaten by Red Bull. Red Bull aren't in a position to 'demand' anything. If Ferrari don't supply them with an engine they'll be up **** creek without a paddle. So this 'threat' to leave is pretty hollow, more a statement of stating the bleeding obvious. If they can treat their current engine suppliers with such disrespect AFTER WINNING EIGHT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES with them, it comes as no surprise that no one wants to do business with them.

F1 » Furious Vettel fumes at Pirelli after tyre blow

I think we have to differentiate between tyres going off ( loosing performance quickly) and having catastrophic failure without warning. The former is to be expected as the tyres come to the end of their performance expectations or predictions and the latter is completely unexceptable and very dangerous. Somebody somewhere has to speak out. Nobody wants to use the actual words but I don't think there are many people who don't know what Vettel meant when he questioned what needs to happen before appropriate action is taken to get this problem sorted out.

F1 » Vettel stuns to win dramatic Hungarian GP

DR's last overtake was reckless (in my opinion.) He had a big lockup, lost control of his car resulting in x2 cars being damaged. Vettel kept his cool, defended well and, crucially, kept JUST out of DRS range. Vettel drove like the 4x WDC he is......excellent. It's hotter than hell at the hungaroring.....even so, I agree with's well worth a visit.
