F1 » Horner: No team orders at Red Bull

If rumours are to be believed, Seb can get out of his 2015 contract with Red Bull if he comes lower than 3rd in the WDC or wins 2 or less GPs. So its really in Red Bull's interest NOT to favour Ricciardo (unless they are trying to get rid of Vettel.) Pity CH didn't realise this a bit earlier in the season (Canada, for example when Seb had the 'faulty GPS' which brought him out of the pitstop into traffic and behind Ricciardo. The rest, as they say, is history).

F1 » Rosberg disputes Hamilton claims

All this furore could have been avoided if Lewis had been a bit more discreet in front of the TV cameras. Will he ever learn to keep his trap shut? I'm fed up of it allready. I think he was damned by faint praise (by Jenson, before the incident) who said something along the lines of 'Lewis is more stable now' (short clip on BBC this weekend). Says it all...............

F1 » Ricciardo wins after Mercedes pair clash

Well, well, well.... Maybe I'm just cynical but before I saw the Wolf/Lauda interviews which appeared to blame Nico for the incidents I thought Merc were deliberatly allowing Lewis to be humilliated by Nico. Why did they leave him out until it was REALLY obvious that he wouldn't be in the points? My initial thoughts were that they were clearing the way for him to leave at the end of this season. Maybe I'm VERY wrong but these are the thoughts that passed through my mind at the time.

F1 » Alonso and Hamilton praise ‘fantastic’ Ricciardo

Ricciardo was lucky with the safety car in Hungary and Seb was brought in too soon in Canada and released into traffic (behind DR) . It just goes to show you how being in the right (or wrong ) place at the right time can really affect the outcome of a race. Still, that's F1 for you. These comments from Alonso and Lewis are intended not to big up Ricciardo but to try to demoralise Seb (IMO)
