MotoGP » Suzuki 'making good progress' says de Puniet

I for one think MotoGP raised the level of competition this year compared with the last couple of years. And also made a big step for 2014 by making all manufacturers use the same ECU hardware. That is one variable that has been removed from the equation and make it a bit easier for new entrants. One step forward and 2 steps backwards by putting an engine and fuel limit! Maybe when all bikes are on the same ECU software then will most of the bikes be much closer.

MotoGP » Abraham confirms Honda talks

How quickly you all forget. Do you not remember in 2011 when Karel Abraham was going up against Cal Crutchlow for rookie of the year? My opinion is that all motogp riders deserve to be there. They just don't all have the right machinery. Like Colin Edwards went from a 5th in the championship in '09 to being nowhere on the CRT. Same with Randy DePuniet. All these guys are great riders, they are just racing in a league of weaker machinery.

MotoGP » Video: Casey Stoner testing Honda MotoGP bike

Pure talent. I think I see what Sylvain Guintoli was saying. In some of these turns he's going in with so much speed that he has to square off the corner and drift the bike in order to make it out of it. See the two corners at 1:50. Lorenzo will probably take long sweeping turns on his M1, through both of them. Equally fast, but different approach. While Lorenzo might look smoother, Casey's looks more fun.
