F1 » Raikkonen: Ferrari doing the right things, but...

Kimi's Ferrari seemed mega slow on the straight, I'm guessing they went for high downforce as Vettel's car seemed just fine vs everyone else's. That said it is as if Kimi gave up a long time ago, he just doesn't have that attacking instinct that the best drivers have. Too often he'll get stuck behind cars, where Vettel, Hamilton or Alonso would have just lunged one up the inside and forced their way through.

F1 » FIA to study closed-cockpit concepts

As soon as they come in, I lose all interest, the whole thing F1 is know for is open cockpits. The only accident I can remember in recent times is the Massa one, Senna and Jules dying had nothing to do with the open Cockpit. Racing is dangerous! What are they gonna do, give the MotoGP Bikes four wheels so they cannot fall over? Stupid that everyone over reacts and ruins the sport like this.

F1 » Renault apologises after Sainz DNF

Why are they apologizing to the drivers now? They never did in the past, **** happens, tell them to get over it like they always used to. So sick of how PG F1 has become, just ******* rules everywhere, safety safety safety, even though no one has died in F1 since 1994, apart from that freak accident with Jules that was hardly preventable. I mean someone could still skid out and hit a Marshall under the virtual safety car, he was probably even doing the same speed they do now under that new rule. Why can't it be more like MotoGP? Rossi cuts the corner at the end of the race after contact, Rossi wins. If that was F1 there would be three months of going to court before Rossi is banned for the year. Now we're having close cockpits potentially coming... imagine MotoGP sticking training wheels on for safety reasons. We're sick of riders falling off and breaking their Collar Bones and what not... it isn't biking any more. Close Cockpits turns F1 into just any normal car, the whole sport

F1 » Pirelli: F1 ignored our request to limit laps

deejay1001: FIA - Pirelli Why can't we have a tyre that does not artificially limit the drivers pace. I want to see F1 cars being driven flat out showing the skill of the driver negotiating the twists and turns of the circuit. I'm not really that interested in seeing the drivers skill in nursing their tyres.
Remember what happened when we had those tyres, boring races because there was no strategy involved.

F1 » Pirelli: F1 ignored our request to limit laps

Funny how people want to hate on Pirelli so much, whocares? They got told to make a tyre to a certain spec, they did it, they knew they were pushing the tyre to it's limits and it didn't work out for them. Whatever, personally I think Pirelli have been great for the sport, their constant tyre changing has spiced F1 up a bit, imagine how far ahead the Mercs would be without them. It has led to some interesting outcomes, personally I want the return of the China 2012 tyres, my god that race was amazing, 4 cars into every corner. No wonder why other manufacturers refused to make tyres that degraded, they said it would make them look bad. I always thought "don't be stupid, people wont judge them on a tyre made on purpose to do that" and oh look.... I was wrong and people are *****s. It's like how one person wins a race and then suddenly they're praised as amazing, suddenly there are rumours they'll be in for a Ferrari seat. I bet you Grosjean will have rumours about him going to Fer

MotoGP » MotoGP Indianapolis - Race Results

titfortat: This is why I doubt Rossi will win this year, he doesn't have the pace or qualifying of Lorenzo and Marq. Smart money will be on Lorenzo.
Really ?? For the record that was 15 podiums in a row for the great one at his least favourite race of the season and Jorge could only take 4 points off him ,remind me the results of the 2 races prior to this one ?
They've had their troubles early on, bvut now Marq is has gone back to a Bike he likes and Lorenzo has rid his tyre issues. Rossi is a guy I'd bet on in the rain, he's the master without electronics or in poor conditions, but on a hot dry day, he's too old now .
