F1 » Global TV audience ‘fell by 50 million’

Undersquare:
Taipan: OK subscription free. I don't know how it works in the US but here we pay a BBC licence fee (which is mandatory and a rip off) but all other channels are free. Unless you want SKY which now shows all F1 races and costs about £40 a month, even if all you want to watch on SKY is the races. I don't know the figures but I'm sure the UK viewing numbers will have dropped due to the switch to SKY.
Well the article says viewing figures are up in the UK, so this system is clearly working fine for F1. Want to see everything Live you pay or else you can see highlights on Free-to-air.
The switched happened from 2011 to 2012, there would have been a drop, but I've never seen how much. A rise of 1.7% or whatever it was, is from 2012 to 2013, both years were on Sky, so it doesn't tell us anything.

I stopped watching because I'm not going to pay for Sky to do so and it is the same for all my friends here in the UK, though they don't mention how much of a drop there has been from 2011 to 2012 as a result. of that. The same will go for MotoGP now, I don't want to have to subscribe to whatever BT are charging to be able to watch that... Why are we paying the licence fee? All the good programs are going, **** like The Voice are coming in........ what **** watches that ****?
