F1 » Lauda backs calls to make F1 ‘riskier’

Frontbrake has hit the nail on the head with all the Sky commentators and hours upon hours of pointless analysis of a boring maneuver. I find one of the most entertaining parts of the races is how overly excited the race commentator gets over the tiniest things, trying way too hard to over compensate for such a boring procession. A MotoGP race is only about 45 minutes and you see a lot more action, I wouldn't mind the F1 distances being shortened making race strategies less dependent on taking advantage of pit stops.

MotoGP » Espargaro: I’m a bit lost now

Thing is as well that he's comparing performances from 2 years ago! Can you imagine in any other sport somebody saying well I beat him two years ago so I should be beating him's not like somebody might be able to improve in that time! (or not as the case may be). It does always sound as though Pol is saying that the bike wont do what he wants it to do - trying to change the bike to suit him rather than adapting his style in places too

MotoGP » Moto2: Rabat: I can't make the same mistakes in Austin

Personally I think Tito will struggle with the title this year but also I just don't see him getting the factory ride, especially next year when only the Tech 3s will be an option ? It's well known how much practice and testing he does on the moto2 bikes, something that just isn't possible in MotoGP and I think he would struggle a lot a more there, and I'm guessing the factories know it too.

MotoGP » Rossi has led 4 laps, Lorenzo 91

JG94: We've also seen Rossi have to pull him self back from some truly awful quailing places. It will be interesting to see if JL can win without leading the first few laps and having to fight a bit - something I know he can do but doesn't always seem willing.
Why should Lorenzo not dart to the front just for us to see if he can with without leading the first few laps? He's a racer. He's out to get a good start and win the races, he's doing just that. Lorenzo isn't the one at fault here. Rossi needs to improve his qualifying and starts.
Did I say Lorenzo was at fault or that he shouldn't dart to the front? I just said it will be interesting to see what he can do from a lower position. We all know he's a metronome but I'd like to see if he would really fight for it. Similarly it would be interesting to see if Rossi could hold the lead from the start like JL can
