MotoGP » Ten to one for undefeated Marquez at Le Mans

Great stuff from Rossi, its amazing he's still doing it at 35 years of age. However Marquez is just in a league of his own at the moment. People mentioning that the margin of victory was quite small seem to be conveniently forgetting that Marquez got caught up in the pack at the start and presumably had to use more tyres than Vale to work his way back to the front. And even then he was still quicker and able to pull away. Rossi is doing well no doubt, especially compared to Lorenzo and Pedrosa but circumstances today flattered how close he is, if Marquez had got a good start he would have been a lot further down the road at the end.

MotoGP » Rookie Marc Marquez is MotoGP champion!

So Marquez wins the title by 4 points, the same 4 points he gained over Lorenzo all the way back in Jerez in Round 3 when he overtook him at the last corner with that controversial pass. Just shows how important these little things can be at the very top. Marquez has been stunning. Lorenzo equally, if not more so since coming back from the collarbone injury. Can't wait for a similar battle next season.

MotoGP » Marquez: I just touched Pedrosa a little bit

Given a clear track Marquez is sensational ,only Lorenzo can match him. But when he is in close proximity to other bikes he often looks like an accident waiting to happen because he pushes so hard. We saw it in Moto 2, and now in Moto GP it must be in double figures this season the number of times he's gone into a corner too hot and been in danger of crashing into the rider in front. Now I would put today down as an unfortunate racing incident, it was very unlucky that Dani's TC broke on the touch, which with no prior warning caused the highside. Marquez however has been pushing his luck all season with things like this, if he carries on like this, which he will, there is a big accident waiting around the corner. He needs to be more in control when close to other riders.

F1 » Raikkonen admits ‘seconds and thirds’ not enough

Jones76 - Kimi has never been about raw speed? Do you not remember 2005? He was absolutely lightning at every track in 2005, and was probably overall the quickest in 07. Since his comeback yes he has lost something in qualifying, which is why I think he would struggle to beat Vettel as he is inconsistent on Saturdays. But in his younger days he was rapid. Not that he's slow now though.
