MotoGP » MotoGP Malaysia: Rossi, Marquez lap times

Everyone seems to forget The little Napoleon (Marquez), stated he would let the title battle play out fairly and would only risk making passes if they are safe. His passes on Rossi were extremely aggressive. Everyone seems to forget how unsafe other riders viewed him in Moto2 during his races in that series. He can claim he was just fighting for position because was faster and in my position he is correct with him being faster. But I believe he intentionally held back to mess with Rossi. IMHO I believe he could've repassed Rossi the first time and could have been fighting with Lorenzo for 2nd place. He ruined an incredible championship fight which could've gone down to the last lap of the last race. Rossi's best move now would be to retire immediately. He has nothing left to prove and will still be considered the GOAT. Him retiring would incredibly hurt MotoGP and in turn hurt Marquez's future earning potential due to the reduction of sponsors willing to pay big dollars.

MotoGP » de Angelis to replace Ben Spies at US MotoGP

Being that MotoGP is ultimately a business, Ben Spies is done in MotoGP. Sure he might come back in some form later this year but he won't be in MotoGP next year or ever again. Here are some reasons. 1) There's too many talented riders in CRT and Moto2 to choose from for next year and the future. 2) Even being different injuries, Lorenzo this past weekend showed every team what they need to look for in a rider to even consider competing for the championship. 3) I'm sure Ducati isn't happy that he participated in a cycling race in Dallas the week before Mugello and then withdrawing. Also considering it's Ducati's home race. And before I get flamed, this is coming from someone who has been a fan of his since he was club racing in the CMRA before anyone outside of Texas knew of him.
