MotoGP » Lorenzo: Rossi let off because of his name

Well, what to say? I have been watching MOTOGP since the days of Sheen and this year was, until the last two weeks, one of the greatest ever. I was puzzled by Marquez in Australia until it became apparent that he was deliberately slowing up Rossi. I was shocked because whilst it is perfectly acceptable to try and win and overtake the championship leaders it has been an unwritten rule that you do not deliberately hinder them. This applies to all motorsport. This is wrong on so many levels (as suggested by race direction). Vale should not have reacted in the manner he did but I can understand it. Lorenzo's comments are a disgrace! In the space of two weeks the wheels have come off MotoGP. Make no mistake, there is many earnest discussions taking place right now. Marquez is a fantastic rider but he has always pushed the limits and has escaped any censure that has allowed him to believe he has a right to influence the title. I am shaking my head and cant believe what has happened to the sp

continued... sport I love. Yamaha and Honda must exert pressure on the riders. This situation is harming the sport. As for Rossi, I see no way forward for him. I would like to see him move to WSB with the new R1 for Yamaha, He would take so many fans with him he would revitalize the championship and help Yamaha at the same time. Marquez must be made aware his attitude must change and he must be penalized for his misdemeanors. Rules need to be introduced to ensure things like today never happen again. They were not needed before but today has changed everything. It would seem riders today have forgotten what responsibilities they have as MotoGP riders.

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made me lose the championship

SSorcereRR: Blame everything on Marquez you lying dirty cheat. Werent you the one telling "this is racing Casey" Your ambition outweighed your talent and your true colors are shown to the world. All the acting and PR stunts for the cameras are not going to work this time Keep pointing fingers to other riders. Karma is a b***h
If you really think that it is ok for Marquez to hinder a Championship leader when he has no possibility to win the championship then your are a misguided fool. It is perfectly acceptable to overtake if you are faster and improve your position but to deliberately to set out to affect a championship for the advantage of some one who is not even in the same team breaks the unspoken rule used in all motorsport. It is a very sad day for MotoGP

MotoGP » Rossi: I did not kick Marquez off

Garcia: Hahaha Rossi this is just pathetic... you kicked him and everyone saw it, you can see from the helicopter view, from Marc's on board, from every angle. You are an embarrassment. Retire already please and take your fans with you. You don't belong on track with this behaviour. I have two 46 t-shirts, they are going into the bin today.
Idiot! Still, I think your name gives you away.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Rossi let off because of his name

The fact is, no one has come out of this with any credit!! It is our sport and it has been dragged through the gutter. MotoGP and the manufacturers must put pressure on the riders and rules that have never been put into writing because they have always been followed, now need to be written in stone. If things do not happen this sport of ours will suffer. For Rossi, unless he has the most incredible luck, he is finished in MotoGP. How could he have a teammate who has made these comments. How will he ever be able to race Marquez again without tempting fate. I believe that Yamaha should offer him a ride in WSB with the new R1. He will take a very loyal following to that Championship, which they need and will also enjoy his racing again. Will MotoGP survive without him? Maybe, I remember the time before he arrived and to be honest it was not good. The Spanish leadership need to make some decisions

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Rossi let off because of his name

Rafagas:
allottia.paynes: If Yamaha and Dorna are smart, they should rig Lorenzos bike to fail in the final race allowing Rossi to win his 10th and final championship, happy fans, justice served and it doesn't matter what MM does to Rossi apart from killing him because with JL out Rossi will be crowned the champion, this would keep most of the worlds current motogp fans happy and would also give people a sense of justice being served, clearly MM is playing games and Rossis winning the championship would serve notice to others thinking they can manipulate the outcome of future championships.
Justice served??? What is the Marc´s fault? Fight for position?. Look like the kick are inside out...could not be upheld much longer.
You do not really believe he was fighting for third do you? If you do then the sport is lost

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I completely lost vision

SkyWilk: So much hatred, almost 100 commentaries of Rossi fans fuming towards Lorenzo. Hoolinganism will never leave Rossi fanbase until he retires unfortunally... As for Lorenzo himself, he knows he has to keep pushing. So far this season he had more problems than Rossi, but tables can turn really quickly, and with so many races yet to go, these 13 points are nothing, specially considering how much faster he can be than anyone else in the dry most of the times.
Look at previous threads, you will find that there is no difference between fans of any of the riders on this site. There are stupid children supporting every rider. I dont know any Rossi fans who are "fuming at Lorenzo" Rossi has more fans therefore has a higher number of keyboard idiots. Again, as I said to another poster, you help create the problem my making provocative statements. Regarding Lorenzo, he may well come back and dominate, he may not. All of the top riders have their strengths and it
