WSBK » Laverty waiting on Aprilia for 2014 decision

Isn't it 'convenient' the rules get revised (again) to make the series cheaper (yet again)...just as Honda prepare to unleash their "game changer" RVF1000. For a while it seemed that the Italian owned/run series was falling back to the days of old when anything Ducati wanted to gain an advantage it was given (small batch runs of updated machinery...on a monthly basis...). It appears as though Noale was trying the same script (gear driven valves on Max's engines, amongst things...). But now it's run by DORNA, they're leveling the playing field, which can't be a bad thing. So, given that, here's another translation: " I'll wait and see what Gigi decides to do next year, where Nicky decides to go, see what their budget is...then give HRC a call."

F1 » Magnussen sure more to come from McLaren

This kid is going to seriously embarrass quite a few "seasoned vets" this year...and hopefully next year they'll be replaced by more serious talent. Can't believe the amount of money thrown at mid fielders by (ahem) professional organizations for minimal return. Here's hoping there's a major revamp of procedure in the not to distant future. One could start with the "Tsar of F1"...

WRC » Loeb is King of the Peak - VIDEO

The scary thing is...he can go the whole thing and pay attention to the exhaust note and induction roar, you'll pick up a degree of turbo lag and slight bogging as he tries to pick up the throttle exiting the hairpins and other more wide open corners. Wait till next year, once they've got it dialed even more (and Seb's far out front on his first "attempt" that it'll be his annual reward to himself: to beat my previous years best)!!!
