MotoGP » Rossi: Stoner comeback wouldn't make a lot of sense

Stoner is a not a household name and rich man because racers like to race. He owes his celebrity, wealth, and the enjoyment of the technical advances in motorcycling to the many racers and non-racers who are FANS of motorcycling and motorcycle racing and spend their money accordingly. Stoner sh!t on the fans and the sport when he departed as he did which IMO is unforgivable. Don't know why it's hard for some to see why he would be looked at so unfavorably by so many fans... I suppose blind fanboyism makes it possible. There's plenty of other riders who respect the fans and the sport for the opportunity they provide, we don't need the Casey Stoner types.

RR » TT 2015: Dunlop ditches Yamaha for BMW!

v46r: Got too cocky in my opinion, taught he would win on another bike, ha ha.
I know he can spell better than you anyway! Ha ha. Another of rossi's boyfriends speaks his words of wisdom...
And then you go to carrying on about wanting ONLY Dunlop to win NEVER McG or they aren't deserving enough? Guess we know who's boyfriend you are! Seems a bit childish to me for MD to jump ship because the performance of the bike HE CHOSE to ride wasn't what he hoped it would be.

RR » TT 2015: Dunlop ditches Yamaha for BMW!

shakennstirred: he is just chasing race wins and doesn't care how he does it. Yamaha are left with no top rider and the team are now leaving the island before the races have even started.
And if or when MD doesn't get win(s)? Pie on his face and burnt bridges for nothing. What if every top rider just ditched their team when they couldn't run the lap times they'd hoped for? Lucky for all of us that most other top riders are willing to see out their contracts and come back next year with a new approach if needed.

MotoGP » Moto2 staying single engine post-2018

SoSlo: wrong a single make bike doesn't at all show rider skill example: Melandri on Michelins could beat Valentino Rossi Melandri on Bridgestone back of the pack Did MM forget how to ride? No. he just liked Michelin better... so If Michelin stayed around and MM kept winning the occasional race and podium, we'd all be saying how great of a rider he is A single make anything is only good for wahtever rider/driver happens to like that particular setup. Would you have no modifications available? No seat adjustement? No rearset adjustment? No suspension adjustment? If you really wanna say everybody has to rider the exact same thing, then don't allow any adjustments to settings at all
Maybe Melandri just isn't as good as you think if he can't adapt as every other rider has.

WSBK » Sepang teases mystery ‘legendary’ wild-card

Yearby23: 4x250cc and 2xSBK titles aren't as impressive as 2x250cc and 2xMotoGP titles. Also Lorenzo and Marquez are at least 10 years younger than Biaggi. I'm a Biaggi fan also but SBK titles don't equate to MotoGP titles.
Judging by the state of competition in the championships Marquez won (4 bikes capable) compared to what Biaggi faced during his motogp career I'd say you're wrong. Lorenzo had a bit more competition but still nothing like Biaggi's day.
Biaggi had the Yamaha yes but when he got the Honda he couldn't match Rossi from race 1 at Welkom in 2004... There were more equally competitive bikes in the 990 era but I think even next year when the rules flatten the playing field out the cream will rise to the top.
Not sure what your point is here but every single rider in the series between 2001-2012 has lost at least one championship to Rossi. Not sure what that has to do with Biag
