MotoGP » Hofmann becomes KTM MotoGP test rider

Yearby23: You've got to start somewhere haven't you? And if they don't try they'll never know and neither will we. As for big bikes, didn't they make the RC8? Isn't it supposed to be a good bike? They might use it as a template, pretty much how Aprilia is using their RSV-4 as one.
Yes they need to start somewhere but when proven WSBK superbike engine RSV4 (ART) is pretty much just to run a round engine not for the winning you got to ask can they really make it. Especially without full factory effort? RC8 is Twin with 1148cm so not really anything useful over MotoGP 4 sylinder engine. I not bashing KTM for doing this project but I would so much more like to see them in WSBK racing, rather than being grid filler in MotoGP.

MotoGP » Hofmann becomes KTM MotoGP test rider

I just dont see how this would work. KTM has no experience in MotoGP, WSBK or even in WSS. And top of that they are not going to run factory team but lease those bikes for teams. I just cant see a way that would work. And yes they made that GP engine back in the day but it newer turner a corner in competition. Look at Aprilia who has a lot of history in Road Racing in high level and even they are going to struggle with factory team (I would guess even when the new 2016 bike comes). Just the upgrades trough out year to keep up with the competition needs heavy factory backing. Im going to be really happy if KTM get that bike ready and race it, but Im going to be highly sceptical for performance of the bike.

WSBK » Camier set for WSBK return with MV Agusta

Dont know about the team or the people, but that bike should be one of the top bikes next year. Camier showing 2014 he can drive anything I think we are going to see some real good placements 2015. Its sad they are not bringing 2 bikes to the grid. You have to feel for Cort driving that overweight bike for the whole season and when hes work is going to bear some fruit he doesent get to drive it.

F1 » McLaren fails to reach driver decision

Alonso would definetly be the best driver for the seat but hes total egg head. "his negotiations with Ferrari to continue was veto over the second driver, choice of technical personnel, things like that.” If hes not careful he might be out of F1 next year, I believe he will not go mid level team if he cant get to McLaren. I hope we see Magnussen next year. Its a bit rough to bring youngster for a year to drive an uncompetitive car and then show him the door.

MotoGP » 2016 MotoGP ECU to be ‘equal, easy, safe’

Well I think Vinhalez, Miller, Baz and Laverty has allredy shown "we need electronic aids, bikes cannot be ridden without, too dangerous" is just bu11**** that people spin in MotoGP. Manufacturers want keep their edge and they ar still going to keep it by having way bigger army of laptopguys tuning that tractioncontrol. If rookie Vinhalez can be couple seconds of from Marquez with no electronic aids and unproven bike, I just feel like all those excuses "needed for safety" is just crap. Ofcourse the bikes would be something else to ride with worn out tires at the end of race when you are battling for the win but still, these guys are Pros and should be able to do it. Its great that this new ECU is going to bring those smaller teams little further but at the end of 2016 the gaps are going to be same from back to top of the field as now. But if this saves money for the (small) teams and they can bring better riders for the show, I say its a good thing.

F1 » Hulkenberg to race at Le Mans, Spa for Porsche

richard: great to see an f1 driver who is prepared to race in another series. i wish that more would do so.
I think many of them would if they could. In bigger teams drivers are under heavy contract and teams dont need money. Small/midfield teams need money but dont nesseceraly have drivers other series would like to run... Everyone knows Hulkenberg is real talent and Im smelling ForceIndia is going to be compensated for their troubles loaning Hulkenberg.
