F1 » Massa: Verstappen amazing but too early for F1

Not saying anything about Verstappen because he hasnt even done one race but isint comments like this "-I think Verstappen can be quick in the car, no problem, but I think that experience counts, maybe in some details where he could cause some accidents or cause some problems, but I hope it won't happen to him.-” a bit "riding with the high horse" when you think the amount on times Massa had crashes and wasted time upside down last year?

MotoGP » New Ducati ‘already better than GP14.3’

Why he did we can only speculate, but given that iannone was riding in the satellite team and receiving updates when Cal was not, I guess he knew the writing was on the wall and he was probably better off leaving Ducati. But I understand your sentiment.
And the reason Iannone got those updates were, he didnt moan, didnt cry about the bike, didnt say hes not going to change hes riding style and got results

WSBK » Rea clinches dream win on Kawasaki debut

What a race. All the bikes seem to be closer than last year. Rea, Haslam, Davies, Torres,Vandermark... Just unbelieveble I have to put my hand up as I tought Haslam had no place in this paddock anymore but boy did he prove me wrong. Agressive, fast, sliding, everything I did not expect from Haslam. Torres is going to be pain in the ass for rest of the season and VanderMark really showed some pace. Its going to be one hell of a season and one hell of a race 2.

F1 » Minardi: 1000bhp - A potentially powerful price to pay

Rising cost, what the hell am I reading? Dowdays the fuel flow limit cuts the power as there is no point runnin the engine higher revs as it would need more fuel what it does not get. Get rid of the limit, you get more fuel - higher rpm - more power. These engines would have absolutely no trouble runnin in high rpm, they dont need to reinvent the wheel to get 1000hp. Now they are sifting at 11-12k rpm when the FIA posed limit is at 15k. Get rid of fuel flow limit, you fix the noise issue and get more power. And I would like to see refueling brought back to F1.

MotoGP » Redding: My aim is to beat Crutchlow

JedPB67: Marc VDS would have to be paid a lot to take Miller as I doubt they'd do it out of choice and/or goodwill...don't forget the Moto2 contract that never came to be between the 2 parties. That left bitter feelings with the VDS team.
Complitely forgot that one. But at the same time there is only 2 factory bikes and 2 real satellite bikes and if you are not putting the results, Honda will smoke you out eventually.

MotoGP » Redding: My aim is to beat Crutchlow

tobecis: Matt2 if that was the case how come Scott did not get bautista ride any part of last season out rode him in most GP's?
I dont know, but couple things come to mind.1. Maeby they wanted to give Redding a year of no pressure learning and he already had contract to ride that bike next year. 2.Redding didnt really pull anything special out of the back last year. 3. Redding propably would not jumped on that bike as it had Showa suspension (yes I know he had it on hes bike but expectations are completely different when you have real satellite bike.) 4. Poor results were not really Bautistas fault and it seems the problem was Showa. 5. Switch between season might be a lot easyer than mid season (sponsor problems etc..)

WSBK » Phillip Island - Official testing results [Tuesday]

shamarone: heads up, it appears Canepa (or someone? the team?) has wholesale swapped some high dollar works ohlins and a conventional brake system onto the front of the EBR. i assume this kit is what he and larry intend to race with come the weekend.
Propably. He said the EBRs own brakesystem had some big advances to compared conventional brakes but one major think it lacked was enough power. He also said they might use it if they can find that additional power as they were only testing the EBRs stock brake system.

WSBK » Phillip Island - Official testing results [Tuesday]

Very very impressive from Canepa and EBR. Lets hope Larry will gain some more speed when he gets to know the tracks. The front group seems to be neatly packed together and moto 2 guys are already on the pace. Last year fastest race lap 1.30.9 and fastest SP2 time 1.30.0. One could assume they havent really lost any pace, PI is not a really track where power matters but I think at the end of the year they are putting atleast same laptimes in big circuits to. The new rules seemed to work well and SBK has nice big grid.
