MotoGP » Lorenzo predicts 'big season' for Rossi

Here we go again... "if Yamaha give him the bike he wants" Yeah well, my Grandma could wipe the floor if she had the right bike too! Anyway, Georgie saying all the right stuff though it's painfully obvious he's probably be looking for a yellow and black bike to help his cause rather than another white and blue one! Codger, Stoner had a chance at the 2012 title too, I fact he was the betting mans favourite while it was clear straight away Rossi was out of his depth in '13. If you must raise the Aussies name every time you post, at least do it with some relevance.

Human physiology dictates that you need bulk for endurance. It's easier to look at extreme examples to understand the phenomenon. Yes Dani is light so he can knock out a few fast laps now and then but zero open titles is clear proof how hard it is for the little bloke to muscle the bike around at the front for 18 races in a season. Those arguing for weight penalties are 99% of the time Rossi fans, using a bloke whose career is dead in the water makes a joke of the argument, what's worse is we're now hearing support for Crutchlow's comment. Here's a bloke that has just about crashed himself out of the series! Maybe he could lend Valentino some fuel, after all he's always got plenty left cause he's thrown the bike up the road after losing his bottle.

MotoGP » February deadline for Factory or Open class

It was a Marquez rule, not a Honda or Repol rule! DORNA cashes in on his celebrity, very few people are stupid enough to think his bike is just like their fireblade, and whether the Spaniard rides it or Ronald McDonald, DORNA doesn't make any more money out of HRC. Jeez I hope TalentFan doesn't read this! Time for wholesale changes starting with kicking Ezpeletas butt to the curb.

MotoGP » Rossi outlines 2014 targets at Yamaha launch

Flash up Rossi's career all you want Guna, hell, get the Bedazzler out and put on party hats but no matter how you paint it, his career at ducati was a miserable failure. How you can misinterpret Rossis very own comments on the ducati and how he was unable to understand how Stoner rode the way he did even with unlimited access to all data and telemetry is mind boggling! Those comments are everywhere including in stories on this very website and are hardly up for debate. Capirossi couldn't better 7th and Melandri 16th when Stoner won and was runner up with many wins, many podiums, many poles and lap records, but with these facts and Rossi's candid admissions including that after his two years there, with massive changes, the bike was 'virtually unchanged' (supported by his results), you think you know better than him?

Codger, Stoner - 2008 6 wins/11 podiums on a ducati, Melandri 17th. 2009 4 wins/8 podiums on a ducati. Hayden 13th. Not sure how I can compare that with Rossi cause he hadn't ridden the duc at the time so make of it what you will. I didn't include poles but there were many, can't remember how many Valentino got in 11/12, maybe you can help me out? Following your rules I could compare 2007, but what would that prove? Stoner 10 wins/14 podiums on a ducati Rossi 4 wins/8 podiums on the bike leading the series at the final round in '06.

Funny guy, can't remember Rossi's ducati pole tally? You know why I don't consider back to backs above other multiple wins, one day you'll think of an excuse to support your opinion of why you think they're special and we'll all be enlightened. 2007? Proved what a mistake Yamaha made when they let Rossi veto the signing of the Aussie farmboy. I have a lot of well founded opinions on Valentino Rossi but I'll never call him dumb.
