RR » Farquhar confirms Superbike return at Isle of Man TT

More than suprised at this as Ryan was very clear in his mind and for family reasons he was hanging up his leathers, which, after a long career was I believe the correct decision. He must not be completely happy just to run his own team for others to ride his bikes in that he olso has to be part of the rider makeup. Is this down to the rider drug of riding or is there an additional finincial side to it and if the latter is the case then you are playing with fire. it's Ryan's choice and the best of luck to him, however, in my view he has had a long career and should retire. You can overstay your welcome in this game. Different if he was a single man.

Tetley: BTW, at the weekend I heard a whisper that BMW were still talking to Mickey D . Could we see Mickey D on a works BMW going head-to-head with Guy Martin on a TAS works-supported BMW ? That would be a contest worth sailing to see.
,Can you guys be 100% sure that MD is aboardthe BMW come june because he is the big draw for the TT ie the rebel with a cause that pushes himself tothe limit just like his dad and uncle Joey.
The only thing that is 100% sure is that , as I said in my posting, I heard a whisper that BMW are still talking to Mickey D. My source was someone with a connection to the Dunlops. As far as I am aware nothing is finalised.
Tetley Many thanks and lets hope it happens and if so I wll check out my travel arrangements, maybe not portavogie.!!!!!!.

Tetley: It's good to see McPint back in the Honda family, but the old girl (the bike, not JMcG) hasn't changed for several years so it has to be doubtful whether it has the pace of newer bikes, particularly the BMW. However, it is slightly worrying that in the photo McPint appears to be hiding substantial wrist strapping. When I spoke to him last year he showed me the scar from his scaphoid operation and said his wrist was healing nicely, so seeing the strapping may not be a good sign. BTW, at the weekend I heard a whisper that BMW were still talking to Mickey D . Could we see Mickey D on a works BMW going head-to-head with Guy Martin on a TAS works-supported BMW ?
