MotoGP » Marquez: I’m still not 100% fit

Dorna is doing everything in its power to put the hype on MM, unfortunately, a few cares about him winning or not. People are worried sick more that JL falls, and cheering heavily every time Rossi overtakes on him. He's making an id10t of himself saying he isn't fit looking down too low on other racers, I bet if Espargaro can finish just 1 position ahead of MM, fans will cheer more of him.

MotoGP » MotoGP announces control ECU from 2016

RossL:
JimmyTheRealOne: I still don't understand why ECU is one of the most expensive parts of the MotoGP teams' budget. I mean, what's so expensive about it? It's just a CPU which you have to write some software for, am I right? So you have to buy the hardware (ECU itself) and pay some programmers to write software...
Those programmers need to get paid - factory teams can afford to have dozens, smaller teams can only afford one.
im under the impression that all programmers (cheap) comes from india, they dont cost $50,000/yr/head, and you only need 3mos to develop. the major problem is that indians are not known to be great in motorcycles.

MotoGP » Dall’Igna talks Ducati Factory/Open dilemma

@LastOfTheLateBreakers "Understand the benefits of more engine changes and softer rear tyre option but why so much hype about 4 litres more race fuel? Obviously the factory bikes will have enough fuel to finish the race, and isn't it an advantage to have a light bike and so don't teams fill the bike with just enough fuel to finish the race?! Anyway I'm more a rider than a mechanic but interested in technical views about this.. " The 800cc Honda is not as fuel efficient, in fact for a couple of races, their rider was cruising a few meters away from the finish line without fuel. Honda didn't just fixed this problem using software but excelled to the point that at the podium, they still have enough fuel to cruise a couple of more laps, hence they have pushed the rules to have 1L less fuel than previous. That rule doomed Yamaha, as they are know to use just the exact fuel per race, now they need to lean the engine during the last few laps to preserve fuel. The secret to fuel efficiency
