F1 » Ferrari calls for meeting on F1 future

I think Ferrari is whinning. They have done it before. I have always loved F1 for the tech. It is first a constructor championship. (I kind of miss the days of 4-5 engine race weekends :o), I know too expensive.) I don't want a drivers only championship. I respect the engineering being important. And the engineering being rewarded. I miss all the independent teams, teams named after the designer/owner. Williams, McLaren,Sauber ,Lotus( should have been Chapman's), just a few. These guys were geniuses and but their name on it. I miss the development of engines, transmissions, and chassis's throughout the season. I lost interest for a long while when the rules started baning innovation. Lotus's dynamic suspension, I came back about the time of Mika and realized I missed so much. So I'll probably keep watching and hoping this will stop being a spec series just in case. I like the little guy, the underdog, and in a spec series they have much less chance as they can't innovate. So I'll go

F1 » Horner: Frustration won't get better of Vettel

StevoG: Renault should be ashamed of themselves in producing such a subclass engine especially with all the experience that they have in turbo technology. Vettel and Ricciardo are at Renault’s mercy with sub quality machinery which makes and gives Mercedes and LH/NR an advantage that they don’t deserve especially that a F1 world champion is really about the driver and not the car and LH/NR are definitely not the best drivers and worthy of world championship status.
F1 has always been a constructor championship. What does a driver need to do to 'deserve/be worthy' of a good car. Drivers always want to be in the best car.
