F1 » F1: Hamilton wins Sports Personality of the Year

Tomco: Obviouisly our sportspeople didnt win much this year. A guy hitting a plastic ball around beaten by another guy driving a car that I could have won the champiopnship in.
What constitutes a worthy sport in your opinion? Football, rugby, cricket - they're all grown men running around after balls of some form. One team always has a mechanical advantage in motorsport - it is the nature of the beast...

F1 » F1: Hamilton wins Sports Personality of the Year

RLF: f1 has beaten a host of other deserving sports. f1 fans celebrate this because it's good for f1.
Yeah, we are on an F1 forum though. SPOTY is nothing but a popularity contest anyway so don't read too much into it. I can't wait until he gets his knighthood - T-Bagger is really going to love that . The UK doesn't have a great deal of sporting success on the world stage and Lewis only won the WDC a few weeks ago so it was fresh in the public's minds. Simple as that IMO.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Force riders to pit in the rain

Wow! This guy never ceases to amaze me, for all the wrong reasons. He blew it big-time at the last race because he bottled it when it started spitting and changed bikes when the riders with man-sized cojones stayed out. He also tried to get Rossi issued with a penalty point at the last race for 'getting a tow' in quali. I wonder what Lin thought about that one???

F1 » Hamilton takes second F1 title with Abu Dhabi win

Alex4F1: I stand by my opinion on Ricciardo no matter what Vettel detractors say to me. U. 3 wins yes but really you have to see through the good luck he had in all 3 races.
3 wins versus zero, 238 points versus 167, not to mention qualifying. Seriously? (not forgetting the second place finish and 18 points he was robbed of in Australia)

MotoGP » Deficit to top 'unacceptable' says Redding

Just how close is this bike's spec to that of the full factory team? Does anyone really think that HRC wouldn't stack the deck favour of their own wunderkind? I hope his data engineer is up to the job as it is crucial to have a good one in the modern era. Rossi replacing the most respected crew chief in MotoGP with a relative unknown shows just how important electonics are these days.
