MotoGP » MotoGP Silverstone - Race Results

Yearby23: Brilliant race! Dovi needs a reality check with being owned by his satellite compatriot Petrucci...and Dovi had a rocketship compared.
The GP14 and previous version always handled well in the wet. The newer bike is now better on a dry track but this might have compromised how the bike works on a wet track? The GP15 is very fast in a straight line but maybe you need a more balanced package when tip-toeing around a damp track. Dovi did say he expected to see Petrucci fall off in front of him and was stunned when he finished ahead of him....

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I completely lost vision

SkyWilk: @racefan59 Well look around, this is a Lorenzo thread, and all i see is insults towards him. Other motorsports? I only see anything close to this in F1 boards, and even there, it never goes as low as i see here.
If Lionel Messi took to the field in a pair of flip flops plenty of people would have something to say about that. Nobody makes Jorge use shoddy equipment. He does it of his own accord but we're not supposed to comment on it? On another note which hasn't been addressed. Before the restart, why was Jorge's second bike set up for a dry race when everyone else had a wet setup? He was lucky they stopped the race proceeding from pit lane IMO.

MotoGP » Marquez: Title fight over as floating feeling returns

lux: Vale smashing into him in Argentina made MM go nuts and into "revenge mode".
He rode into Vale's back wheel as I recall so he has nobody to blame but himself on that one. Did he really think a dogged competitor like Rossi was going to be bullied off the racing line and give him the victory? He should have learnt a lot this season but common sense seems to go out of the window for him when the flag drops.

MotoGP » Rossi: This is MotoGP - you can never relax

Yearby23:
HelloSweden:
BrazilDUluwita: What is amazing to me is.... how MM Crashes when he is chasing Vale. In a way Vale taught MM How to ride in the rain. Vale's pace made MM to push beyond that he could. Again MM Didn't know to settle for the position that he could have stayed on the podium.
idiotic? you mean like jerez 2011? Oh no. MM not idiots as you think.
Rossi fans won't remember that...and if any do they'd blame Ducati or even Stoner for Rossi's outbraking and wiping out Stoner.
Calm down, dear, or your visor will steam up.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I completely lost vision

If he's really nice to Valentino, he might get him a good discount on a quality AGV lid. Lorenzo wants to compete with Rossi on all fronts including merchandising so the companies he can team up with are quite limited as they already have deals in place with other riders. The HJC deal lets Lorenzo think he is equal with Rossi on this front even if the product is shoddy as has proved to be the case.

MotoGP » Rossi wins dramatic wet British GP

VicariousR1: There you are, QED. The rain dance clearly paid off. Waste of time wet race where the weather decided who was going to win.
MotoGP is an outdoor series so it's got to rain at least a couple of times a year. It is up to the riders to master all of these conditions across the course of a season. Weather often determines who wins anyway so your point is a pretty weak one. Cool or hot temperatures affect tyre choices which suit some riders but not others. Do you cry when it is cool or windy at places like PI or when it is stiflingly hot in Sepang?
